Teaser Trailer - New Campaign for halo 3.

I always said it was a Halo3 Campaign add on...
Noooo one listened to me now did they?

From what I can tell in the teaser trailer I am thinking it is a pre Halo1 video. Like it looks like all our guys have used escape pods from space right? So something unexpected attacked an Earth ship above planet Earth, maybe an unexpected Covenant ship?

 

This is gonna be great, they need to announce a release date for this.

 

Holy mother of god, I didn't think they would do it. This is going to be awesome.

The pics aren't in order. The should be but for what ever reason, they're not.

I'm thinking that it could potentially be new levels where you play as ODST between Regret's jump to Installation 05 and when Master Chief returns to earth in Halo 3. I say this because in the shot of the two, taller towers, you can see Regret's flag ship near the sky elevator. I also think that you'll play a lone ODST in a post-Regret Jump New Mombasa. If you notice, all the ODST drop pods appear to get wiped out by the explosion from Regrets ship. Then, in the last two city shots, you see one, lone ODST drop pod drop from the sky and hit the one camera.

I guessed at this about an hour and a half ago...and sweet. I was right.

Miranda? She was away driving space ships and saving the galaxy during halo 2 when the covenant found earth wasn't she? Set during this time mb?



Actually this doesn't look much like a human or elite pod to me. Perhaps the game is set from the point of view of a brute? It would explain the new UI

 

I am ridiculously excited. Woot.

 

Maybe it has to do with what happend during the big explosion that destroyed new mombasa during Halo 2, you know, when they go into slip space inside the city?
Thats my guess.

 

its weird because if you go on the marketplace it says something about a new campaign but when i went onto halo something popped up telling about the teaser and it said something about a new game. so i'm a little confused. they either have a new game coming out, a new campaign, or its a campaign of a new game. who knows

 

If you mean before then it could have happened. But it couldent have happened after because the city is a giant crater now.

 

It could be new human tech...maybe spartan IIIs?

 

I think it comes out January 6th

Well, now it seems definite that it is about campaign, that I am sad because that means that I was wrong for going off on this idiotic kid...

Not to mention I want my multiplayer maps, and January 6th is too long for anything =/

If the new maps are campaign and not multiplayer... that means there is not a new forge map coming. Sadfaic... I would prefer a new forge I think lol.
