The new maps aren't being released yet. In fact bungie hasen't even released a date for them. But some people think that news about them will be told on september 25th (halo's birthday)
This is likely because they are already adding a huge update. It would add even more work to post another update just to add the achievements. Hopefully, it may mean that the new maps are coming soon.
Well, either they are coming out soon, or its because they wanted to update all the achievements so they wouldn't have to later, and the maps will come out who knows when. Week, Month, who knows? I prefer the first option, cause I want preferably on the 25th (sorry to anyone, if my high hopes disagree with your pessimistic attitudes).
Well if they surprised us and just put out the maps tomorrow, that would suck. I don't have enough points for it... And I doubt in the highest degree possible that there will be seven free maps.
