I'm new to the firefox scene, and am looking for some good add-ons for it, so, what's everyone's favorite add-on? Currently, I am using stumble.
It seems to always come up with good sites to use.

I don't really use too much, but I have this handy Webmail Notifier so I don't have to check my email unless I know I have something.

Try out gesturing with your mouse. You can free up the toolbars at the top - or remove them completely - as all the useful commands can be mapped to specific, short movements with your mouse. Makes surfing that bit quicker and easier.

Grab and Drag is just way too epic. It lets you scroll pages with your mouse, Adobe Acrobat-style. It's great for pen computers, but you can use it with any type of mouse for great effect. There a flick gestures, momentum, and friction modifiers.

Defiantly look for Adblock Plus and Adblock: Element Hiding Helper. They block all the ads on a page, and with the Element Hider, you can even pick and choose what gets blocked. I can't browse the web without it!

    Adblock Plus

    Adblock Plus: Element Hiding Helper

    Hope that helps!

Mine would be Video DownloadHelper, it allows you to download a video or song you like that your streaming off a site. And if you download the converter, you can convert the video or song to a different format.

Its one of my favourites, No Script blocks all scripts on websites unless you approve them. So when you accidently click on a trick link to a rick-roll, the flash video script is blocked. Very handy.

Stumble Upon, although not specifically a firefox add-on as just an add-on in general , depending on you preferences you set, you can get great lulz from quickly flicking through the webz

Okay, Foxmarks just replaced it as my favorite. It's very useful in my case, where I have two computers and a portable browser on my flashdrive. I can sync up all three of them easily.
