Canyon Defense Created By Pettifer7 Map Description Well this is my third map i have post here on forgehub so I'm open to suggestions but anyway, i made this map one day when i was really bored i just started making it for fun but then i started to like it so i continued to build it. anyway the basics are that there is a big canyon in the middle of foundry that the attackers spawn on the defenders then spawn in the back rooms of foundry and have to try to get there VIP a.k.a the prophet through the canyon to the go to point to score STORY in 2547 a specially selected group of spartans were assigned a task to protect the gate to new mombasa from the invading covenant, if the covenant were to reach new mombasa it would mean the end of the human race as you and I know it _________________________________________________ This is the basic overview of the map This is one side of the back of the canyon the hole takes u through the secret exit/entrance (not that secret anymore lol) This is the other side of the back of the canyon the hole in the wall takes u to the attackers armory (we will get to that in a minute). This is the go to point that the Defender's VIP must get to This is the armory i was talking about early despite it being a armoury it is quite fair, each weapon has different spare clips and respawn times(there is also a couple snipers ontop of the canyon) this is were the defenders spawn, i think i prevented most spawn kill because there are shield doors in the doors and respawn points up and down the halls (trust me there will be no spawn killing) Again even though it is an armory it is very fare i made sure of it __________________________________________ Just a couple of additional thoughts 1.just because there was not a picture(srry about that) i thought i should say that the very top of the canyon 2. the boxes on the cannon can be knocked down into the narrow walk way below by using the mongoose located on each side of of the canyon 3. please post your thoughts on this map Canyon invasion(map) canyon invasion(game)
This map is okay, but your grammar isn't, it sucks hard (sorry I had to put that out there). It seems somewhat balanced because you didn't throw in all eight rocket launchers, but as a rule of thumb, never make a concealed armory, keep it in the open so one team can't camp in an area and annihilate the opposing team, whether your making a map for infection or a map for team slayer of objective game types. It just won't work out any other way. Overall a 3.5/5, the layout is okay, the base design is decent, and the cover to the bases is average.
