Territories Spawn Point failure.

    In my Ia Drang Valley map, the two teams have a main base with a spawn point cluster and the 2 seperate bases with 3 spawn points each (subject to change in the final version). While playing the Custom Game, players start at the Main base but after being killed, respawn at a side base for the rest of the round. Spawn points are properly designated Attacker/Defender but they just arent being recognized. Do the territory points need to be rearranged or what?

    So there's a central base with respawns for both teams, and then a side base for each team with only respawns for the appropriate team?

    If so, I'd say that the game is trying to spawn people away from their enemies. If the enemy is at the central base, it will spawn them at the side base. Even if the enemy is at their side base, the game will respawn you as far as possilbe (the side base).

    You can test this theory by having red team go to blue side base and then seeing where blue will respawn. I'm guessing at the central main base.

    You can fix this with respawn areas. Put one in the side base for the appropriate team, then put one for each team in the central base. Change the "spawn order" of that one to 1. People should respawn in the side base, then the main base, then the side base again, etc. You can make them respawn in the center more frequently by adding another respawn area and setting the order to 2. Then they will respawn side, center, center, side, center, center, etc.

    At least I think it works like that. Hopefully that helps you out.

    Actually each team has their own base with the side capture spots. The respawn areas sound like they would work though so i'll try it out. Thanks
