The map to rule all has arrived, but... what does it include? - Attackers Base (on Ground) - 2 ways to get to the island: Bridge and Gravity Circle (launches you all the way to the top of the map). NO SAFE TELEPORTERS THIS TIME! - Last, but CERTAINLY not least, Sky Island 4! (It's made by 8 Fence Boxes, 8 Double Boxes, Open, 4 Bridges (the other 4 bridges are used for the major bridge), 4 Grav Lifts, 3 Wire Spools, 3 Vehicles, 8 teleporters, and weapons/grenades. IT'S BIG, REAL BIG. When will the day come where people stop creating Skybases/Floating structures on Standoff? Looks ok, nothing new to me.

It looks good and all but what makes this map any different from all the other sky bases around? Why should I download this if I already have another one?

Answers/comments to quotes: and I'm not sure if you guys downloaded the map, but this idea is different... it has potential, because you risk dieing when getting to the island, you can own when hitting a wheel down a bridge and hitting 2 guys coming to get you, and you can snipe from a none obvious location... The map is different. First part: this map can be used for any gametype, but mostly meant for individual slayer, as is most of my maps. Second part: I think you're a friend of mine, or you might be someone else that has something against me in some way... Thanks... This map is different because of it's potential (as I said before). It has different things to do, different and exhilarating ways to get to the island that make it possible to be hit in mid air when going up the grav lifts and scaring the @#$% out of someone at the top waiting for someone. These things build up and make it different every time you play! Exactly! Thanks for even more comments! I think I'll be posting this on bungie.net so it'll help the dlding process.
To everyone saying sky bases are used a lot, so what. The only thing that matters is that the map is fun and whoever downloads it enjoys playing on it. You don't have to have an original idea for fun gameplay. You don't know if his map is better or worse than other sky maps just because it is a sky map. I am downloading.

i actually like this map because it has alot going on. instead of one base thers TWO!. not a very original idea but the danger is there when you are actually going up to the base becuz of that wire spool. overall a really great map! nice job.
What I want to see is a sky island integrated with ground bases. Maybe towers on the bases, and they can get you to the island, and a teleporter from the bottom of the base to near the top. using the fence areas around regular walls, to make "safe spots" from snipers and lasers below. That would spread the focus out from only being on the sky base to other spots on the map. Two smaller and one large base wouled also be cool, some turrets up top and some at the towers on the sides.
. It's a good idea an everything, but there aren't enough recourses to do so... It took up all the floating objects for the island, so then you're left with crates and maybe radio antennae things... That wouldn't work out so well... -ER1C0 :squirrel_wink:
