Welcome to the Manor! This is a map that I created a couple weeks ago made for large parties of In the Shadows. You can download In the Shadows here: In the Shadows Now to the map: Description Like I said above, The Manor is designed for large parties of In the Shadows. I came to realize that the Estate was great for up to eight people but more than that the map gets crowded and the games don't last for more than a minute. To resolve this problem I simple took the Estate and mirrored it onto the other side of the map to double the amount of floor space. Screenshots This is the Courtyard and Main Entrance to the Manor. Here you can see the considerable size difference when compared to the Estate. This is the new Living Room. I wanted to keep the trade mark massive couch and plasma TV. This is the Exercise Room. You can see the massive Treadmill on the left and a smaller TV. Here we have the good 'ol Kitchen. I kept this room because I thought it gave the Estate the feel of a real home. Last but not least is the Hallway. Nothing too special here, it just connects the two sides of the house. Last Words Of course I can't show you everything. You will just have to play the map to see the rest for yourself. Download Here: The Manor
This map looks visually excellent. You interlocked where you should have and kept areas that were fine. My problem with it is that you took out a lot of hiding places. The only place to really hide now is the upper floor. Add a little more cover for people hiding and you'll have yourself a perfect map. BTW, I love that treadmill. You should make a complete house, as I see you have some potential. Keep up the good work!
Yeah I realize that some of the hiding spots are missing( boiler rooms ) but it would be impossible for me to add those areas with the small amount of items I had to work with.
From the pictures it looks like it has floorboards and I think the tele-reciever nodes are ment to symbolize bushes.
This is really cool. I like the treadmill and the couch. The kitchen was cool and using the teleporters as bushes was cool, and unique.
