Haha the pics at the last part of the thread are funny hehe lol Ok for the map Positives: Set up very well for infection I like the house you built with the door that you can lock. Also the ledge was a very good idea, because it supplys a good catwalk for snipers. Also I like how you gave the infected an advantage with the shield doors. Negatives: There are ways where you can clean the map up a little bit with geomerging and interlocking, unless you planned not to have it. Another thing is that I dont think you gave the zombies enough cover in the middle of the map Conclusion- Looks good and fun to play on, good job
Yeah, the middle of the map isn't really traversed once the door is locked anyhow, the zombies usually just go right and weave thru the maze of boxes so the emptiness doesn't affect gameplay (please note all the money is used and i have to take away to add more) The merging- everything was planned and is how i want it Thanks for your reply
So, after the front door is (easily) locked, the zombies have only the side door? Interesting. And by interesting I mean unbalanced.
i like how u edited the photos lol there funny... map ;looks nice interlocking and wat not is pretty smooth tho i would like to see more out of it the door idea is nice tho... i would dl but im nota zombie type guy but nice job 4/5 for layout
So there's no reward to killing a zombie, both in the fact that it's a 1 hit kill and that the fast zombies come back in a couple seconds anyway. Doesn't help that the zombies have little chance of getting to the only door anyways, as anyone can go up to the second floor and pick them off before they get close. That would get boring real quick for me.
I don't need to play it. The information you've provided shows the unbalancedness. A 1 hit, fast zombie, with 1 way into a fort where they can pick you off very easily. Nothing shown in any of the information, or pictures, shows me that it would different from other fort maps. And no, I don't believe every good zombie map is played this way. These types of maps are for people who want to be able to get kills as long as possible, and hate being the zombie (because of the fact they get constantly killed by the humans). If you don't want to take my advice and keep it the same as any other kid's map, so be it.
