The Ship is a unique multiplayer PC game developed by Outerlight Ltd., created using Valve's Source engine. Set on a series of luxury, art deco cruise ships built by Mr X, this devilish game challenges you to kill or be killed. Once you're on board you're given the name of another passenger whom you must find and secretly murder.Watch out for security unless you want to do some time in jail, take care of yourself and keep looking over your shoulder because somewhere out there is another hunter looking for you! Basically, The Ship is like Clue in Halo 3. There are many ways to kill your prey. For an example, you could simply shoot him when no one is looking, or lock her in the freezer, stun him and throw him overboard, poison her, drop a lifeboat on him, etc. The ways to kill are endless. However, you have to watch out, for you are also someone else's prey.
It started off as a mod, and then developed into a separate game. You can buy it at Steam if you want.
I played it like a year ago or something. It's really hilarious to trick a random person into thinking you're his killer. Then when he kills you he loses money lolz. But back then, there was no one to play with but I just hope more people got it. If you want to play with me, send me a pm.
I think it was like $15 or something on the steam website. But it's an excellent game, and I think it's worth dishing out the money for.
It's alright. I played the mod ages ago, and I tried the retail version when they had a free weekend a while back, but it lost its novelty after a while. I'd recommend it if you want something fun, and can't get enough of the Clue-like gameplay, but if you're more action-oriented, it will get boring. I could go back to it, but not for $15.
hmm... can we make them murder somone and make them have to face capitol punishment? BTW whats steam?
Steam is Valve's digital distribution service. You can buy and download any Valve games and a wealth of other games, and they all are registered to your profile. You don't have to worry about losing disks or keeping disks in your drive while playing them. Very convenient, and very popular.
