Well, this is my first map post here at FH. And, here is a map that I made a few months ago. I made it when I discovered that vehicles would bounce off horizontal shield doors. I then set off on a quest to make a washing machine that splatters people occasionally. The result is this. The gametype is kinda like Rocket Race. Well, you have rockets, and you try to blow people up with a vehicle. You spawn next to 6 mongeese with plasma pistols and a rocket launcher. You have unlimited ammo, and you can grab a 'goose and go. Or, you could go into the highly explosive radioactive armory for a grav lift, power drain, spartan laser, fuel rod guns, or another plasma pistol. The teleporter leads you to the gauss warthog. Although I haven't worked out how to keep the fighting in the arena only, it would do you good if everyone actually drove a vehicle in there. If people like this sloppy idea, then I might made a neater version with the Ultimate Budget Glitch. This looks really sweet. Most bounce maps are so much simpler than this, but I can see you actually put some work into this. The vehicle spawns and stuff are great I love the little place where the gauss is. The explosive armory is great too I love how you set that up. And as long as you play with people who want to have fun, there should be no problem with the camping and stuff. Great job! By the way I think you mismatched the gametype and map threads on Bungie.
looks like u put some time into it... more would help tho maybe try n get the sheild doors flat and remove the soccer balls but thats just a suggestion... or point the man cannon straight up so it launches u then u fall right back down... this could be fun i like the fire exstinguisher... lol bet this is pretty CHAOTIC HUH
I didn't point the man cannon straight up, because one of the problems I found when I was making this map was that people travel EXTREMELY slow when they're bouncing (maybe a inch per 2 seconds?). The cannons and grav lifts are to push you around. I also found out that when you jump out of a moving vehicle, there's a chance where you might splatter yourself. And yes, I believe I did mix up the links. Thanks for telling me, Barkus.
