    Nice Setlist!!!

EDIT: There is a person on youtube who has gotten a hold of Guitar Hero: World Tour early. He has videos of every song on expert guitar. As of right now he only has guitar vids up.

Personally, watching these videos has greatly disappointed me. I feel like Activision and Red Octane just totally ditched their hardcore fan base and did anything and everything to get as many new people into these games. I will not be buying GH:WT for this reason, but please, watch the videos and decide that for yourself.

duuuuuddeee, silversun pickups- lazy eye. That song is effing brilliant for guitar hero. I also see an unplugged song or two which is cool because it'd be awesome to just chill and play some acoustic songs. Great list, hopefully they brought something new to the table for the actual game.

thanks for posting this. nice little find. It's obviously not ALL of the songs but a good chunk of what to expect.

    TOOL!!!

Instantly excited I am. (and talking like Yoda). There are a lot of really good ones on there, but Tool is my favorite band... so yeah. (Has this been known for a while and I've just been oblivious?)

No, this is all of them. 86 songs right here. Now, there may be a bonus setlist that they haven't announced yet, but if you go to the source it says this is all the on disc songs.

    Nope, just posted today.

Rise Against - “Re-Education Through Labor”

That's enough to buy the game right there.

You aren't being open minded. You have to drift away from the heavy metal songs and learn to appreciate other music genres.

Hendrix=Heavy Metal? when did that happen?

srsly, I'm astounded that you'd be so ignorant of such a genius...

anyway, I don't even like heavy metal, I prefer old 60's-70's rock, like zeppelin and Floyd. All the new music bores me, and believe me, I've tried listening to it.

Haha, I'm sorry. I spend alot of time on the Guitar Hero Community website forums and they all complain about the lack of heavy metal, so I just wrote that out of habit of telling them to shut up.

I too love rock in the 60's-80's, but these games now have to appeal to all ranges of audience, and, as of right now, the audience likes modern music. Besides, it's not a bad setlist IMO.

EDIT: Also, with Neversoft giving us all Master Tracks that limits the music they are able to get a hold of.

Well, when they get Black Dog, Comfortably Numb and Layla on there I'll be happy. Although I must say, choosing A wind cries Mary over songs like Little Wing and castles made of sand... I dunno...

Those songs would kick major ass! Also anything on metallica's RTL Album would be great, and maybe some AC/DC

i can quite honestly say, im very disappointed with that setlist. I realise theyre trying to appeal to the mass market, but seeing coldplay makes me want to physically throw up. fortunately i have an alternative to playing guitar hero: world tour, the real guitar- where i can play what i want as opposed to tap buttons in time to a predetermined sequence.

Led Zeppelin have a really tight-assed manager, same with the Beatles, therefore he will not let the rights to their music go to another company/corporation.

Bottom line is: Won't be happening any time soon...

I totally agree. GH and RB are fun, but playing the actual guitar is way more fun and satisfying.
