For Forge Hub members: I would greatly apprecaite it if you would also state you opinions on this map on the Bungie.net forums, and also a rating if you see fit.

    Map Description
This map really started out just for oneflag, with the large outpost taking up most of the room in the map. Then i joined up with Forge Hub when i couldn't seem to get it to sell, and I learned a few things. One is that most people will go for a map capable for more than one game type. So i thought to myself "Okay, I'll just add a couple more flag points and throw in Assault compatability." Next thing i new, i had constructed a second, smaller base and was setting it up for Terretories, King of the Hill, VIP. The only thing I really didn't do was includ destination points for Juggernaut, as most people probably play that game for the killing aspect.

Anyway, On this map you will find two bases. The smaller one represents the rebel camp. You'll find playing this map that the Rebel camp is a little harder to get into thanks to close quarters and high walls, plus the fact that they have a shotgun and sniper rifle somewhere in that place. Directly outside of the camp's main entrance are two wraiths available to lay siege to the outpost. Inside the camp is a teleporter that leads to their flag/bomb area and a very handy sniping point, plus a few handy weapons.

The larger base is much better fortified, sporting severall turrets, a stockpile of equipment, and a sniper of their own with a neat perch that overlooks the whole of the map. This base also comes complete with a Ghost hangar that is totally inaccesable from the outside. Just don't boost into the man cannon on your way out, you'll end up crashing into the far end of the hangar and damaging your vehicle. The outpost also sports three stories of playability, the ground level with it's stockpile of weapons and the main entrance, the second floor with turrers and access to the hangar, and the third that is the sniping platform. In the back of the base you'll find a shotgun and teleporter on the other side of the Shield Door, the teleporter leading to the outpost's flag area. A teleporte in the middle of the passage between the bases leads to a sword chamber if anyone is interested.

All in all, I think that this map is fairly well balanced. The ghosts are able to come up behind the wraiths and hit them in their weak point, the turrets counter the ghosts if the enemy gets their hands on one or two, the snipers counter the turrets and eac other. One base is harder to get inside for the attacking team, the other is stockpiled with fancy weaponry.

Once again, I did try to make it accesible for all gametypes. However, i did not have the oppurtunity to playtest the map on every gametype. So, if you notice any bugs, feel free to let me know so that i can do something about it!

Please don't rate before you play, I don't want a score based on how the map looks but based on how the map plays. Criticism is accepted to an extent, but extensive flaming will not be tolerated. Examples: "OMGWTF YUR MAP SUX n00b!!!!!1!!" Please keep these comments to yourself. If you do download it, please let me know what you think via this thread!

I'll be honest with you, I am not going to download your map because it does not look very interesting to me.

However, I am glad to see that you learned what people like in good maps, and it seems like you put a lot of effort into this, so im not discrediting you either. It takes time, but you'll get better eventually.

    OMGWTF YUR MAP SUX n00b!!!!!1!!

lol, I couldn't resist. Sorry Sokorsis.

Anyways, it looks like you put a lot of effort into this map. That plus the fact that you are new and seem to be doing everything right means you get a download out of me. I'm supporting all the new folk who took the time to do it right the first time.

I'll give you a d/l and try to get back here for a review. Welcome to the Hub.

The map is kind of dull and lacking. On the second to last screenshot though I believe you should use a bridge instead of those stairs because it looks pretty sloppy with a stack of stairs in the open air. I can't help you otherwise, sorry. Good efforts.

it looks pretty good, but a little unbalanced cause unless there is a reason, there shouldnt be three deployable covers right next to each other. good job though, ill download and play it

:squirrel_chatting:Thank you for all the feedback! I'm not going to make any changes just yet, but know that i am taking your suggestions into consideration. I already know that i will be putting at least one of every useful piece of equipment (that is everything but the flare, imo) in the rebel base and dispersing the equipment in the outpost a little more evenly throughout the base instead of just on the first floor.

It would seem my account had been deleted with the server crash, so here i am, claiming this thread. It certainly was no "Guest" that created this.

I did use it on the rebel base, if you look closely. I don't apreciate the mockery.

If it looks dull, tell me some methods I can use to make it look intresting! Just stating that it looks dull is of no help to me.
