Gee don't give any info on it or anything... Where can I buy it? Is there a trial somewhere? Is there a storyline?

Ehheheh... sorry bout that, I assumed most people knew that it was an XBLA game that recently came out.

I'll warn you before hand though, it has been regarded as extremely difficult to the casual player, and it did not get great review scores because of that.

But i can promise you that if you love side scrolling old school style shooters that are challenging and require you to learn the patterns and react quickly.. true twitch gaming... then you will want to check it out..

Plus, there are multiple characters each with a different weapon and gameplay mechanic.

I love hard shooters and had to pick this up the moment it came out. I haven't devoted enough time to it to get really good, but I've managed to knock out all but two of the achievements now I think. Sensei seems a little broken, but maybe his crazy power makes it harder to keep your max chain up. On a random but semi-related note, is Ikaruga coming to XBLA?

This game looks a lot like Aegis Wing (another XBLA game), the only thing is is Aegis Wing is FREE. Titmar correct me if I am wrong about this game being like Aegis Wing for I have not played Omega Five. Also I am assuming you have played Aegis Wing.

Aegis Wing is more of a co-op shooter, while Omega Five focuses on single-player game play. Omega Five also varies the environments a lot more (i.e. things come at you from multiple directions rather than from the right-hand side of the screen exclusively). Also, Aegis Wing pretty much looks like crap. Omega Five has really nice graphics for an XBLA game.

That game looks really really cool. Too bad I am just incredibly bad at videogames or I would get it.

It probably has more to do with time invested. I played it non-stop one day while my girlfriend was at work. After five hours or so, you unlock unlimited continues. I played with Ruby so much that I managed to complete the game without dying, too.
