And Brady goes DOWN. Jets vs. Brady-less Pats week 2, we'll see what happens. And yes, I do feel like I need to quote myself.
My predictions are looking pretty good right now: Steelers-Cowboys Super Bowl, Patriots losing 7 games for Wildcard spot, Cardinals winning their division, Titans Wildcard, Jets winning their division, and Seahawks not winning their division.
My first week of fantasy is over, and it ended with a victory, 76-61. The eagles looked really good today. I know they played the rams but they blew them away and the receivers looked great. There were really no flaws for the team. btw, i was right, turner blew up
Turner was ridiculous. Highest rushing yards in franchise history? If only the Lions had a defense they would have a great offense... Brees did great though, thats good.
1 Game in. Just thought I would mention that. The only time 1 game defines a season is when it's the superbowl. Brady, out for season. You may think this defines the season, but as we all know, anything can happen. The Pats are too good all around not to at least get a wild card. Cassel looked good today, especially on that 55 yard bomb to Moss.
Just pointing out that my Cardinals, Jets, and Patriots comments weren't THAT ridiculous. In my money league that I actually remembered to draft in, I have Michael Turner, Willie Parkert, and McNabb, so I pretty much locked up a week 1 victory.
The Pats offense has the capability to make almost ANY quarterback look good (not saying Brady wasn't), they have plenty of talent up there. Will Cassel be good enough to win 10+ games? I dunno. What an amazing opportunity for the Jets, though. If they don't take advantage this year (with Farve and a revamped offense, as well as Revis and Rhodes anchoring the defense) then I don't know when they'll have another shot at it.
I don't know if that means he's good or bad. I think the Pats will be ok but there not going to beat the jets. I can't believe Carolina beat san diego. I thought san diego might win the afc, I bet LIGHTS is pissed, lol. I'm not cause thats the afc, all I care about is the NFC east.
I still find it very ironic that paralyzed named his team Torn ACL and drafted Tom Brady with the second pick overall. Tom Brady then tears his ACL in the first half of the first quarter of the first game of the season.
I know right! I was watching the game on Sunday, and when Brady went down and I heard all the rumblings of an ACL tear, I was like.. Figures! I keep my fantasy football team name from the previous year, and I draft Tom Brady and sure enough, He Tore his ACL, and his MCL (to add insult to injury) Oh well, I'll still win without him, Sort of like the Patriots will do.
i know this isnt about nfl but its about football, does anyone know where i can learn how to play or know whats going on in football? please help and thank you
i know... that i have to play powderpuff. anddd that you have to get it to the end? im sorry i dont know much
Well, in football, there are eleven players on each side of the ball. On offense there is a line, a tight end, wide recievers, a halfback, a fullback, and a quarterback. The offense tries to get the ball into the end zone by running, throwing, and catching. The defense is supposed to stop the offense. What position are you playing?
