I decided to drop Quantum for a while (as in I'm going to probably start from scratch to make a v3) and decided to make another map: Gokurin. This is a small three story map with a four-way cross hallway accessed through teleporters through out the map. Now let's go over this map Now don't you hate it when you are about to kill someone and they jump over your head and your sensitivity isn't high enough to whirl around before they escape? We'll on the bottom floor of this map there is no jumping room unfortunately for some. It's where players will duke it out mano y mano...er...I mean gun to gun. There are BRs, a teleporter, and a man cannon to get fast access to third floor. The second floor is all about maneuvering around the walls and corners. Keep your beat downs ready and your eye on your radar. And don't forget to look up. There are two teleporters on this floor as well as plasma rifles and SMGs. Oh and a gravlift that sends you to the third floor (instant respawn). The third floor is mostly like the second floor except you can jump down for getaways and you can jump over the walls. There is one teleporter on this floor accompanied by some duals and a needler. Now all the teleporters send you to a four way hallway where probably the most useful weapon lies: a one clip shotgun. Though it may seem obvious (or not seeing how these screenshots are horribly taken thanks to your truly) this is a small map and made for recommended gametypes 1v1 or 2v2 slayer. How could you stop making Quantum? This map though, looks good. I like how you make the no jumping area, that is pwnage. and the circular wall is nicely interlocked! I wouldn't give it give it a 5/5, but no less than a 3/3. So unless i suck at math, this get a 4/5.
Well it's not that I stopped it's just when you work on a single map continuously it get's more of a hassle rather than an enjoyment. So Quantum will probably return with more of a similar look but new features.
its looks very cleanly interlocked although that big curved wall cood use alittle wurk. but i wud like just a few mor picks and possibly a birds-eye view of the map (if possible) but other than that nice map. 4/5 as well
I didnt really see much interlocking. just the walls and the bridges at the bottom. Oh well, Interlocking isnt everything but I would definitly clean up that wall. Other wise this is a cool map and I agree with the 4/5. Keep up the good work.
kool map man, i like it alot, you did a great job of interlocking and i like the different levels of the map. i think it could be a little better by adding a little more cover.
