Ok, i just made these three COD4 sigs in GIMP and i wanted to know how they looked to you. I think they look pretty good, and which ever one you guys like better, im going to use. Thanks. Here they are Original Version - Second Version - Third Version -
Umm.... What are the effects? It looks like its a normal picture... Also why does everyone try blurring things in the background now? Sorry man I don't like it, I don't see any effects or atleast it is way too blurry to see and the borders are too big and the text is not that good...
forgyforge - Thanks! when i first put them on, i looked at the second one, and i thought,"Hmm... that looks a bit fuzzy and doesnt look as good as it did before..." so i thought someone would say something about that one =P HellsRequiemAMX - =/ i kinda like the text, i dont see anything wrong with it
Okay so you really didn't answer hells question... What did you do to it? It look like a camo BG with a render. Also as for the text it doesn't fit the sig very well and is too bulky.
i made the background, so if you think i didnt, leave me alone... i did ALL of this, but make the render, by myself. If you want to know how i made background, this is what i did - 1) Got the render and covered the whole layer with it. 2) Went to filter>noise>pick 3) Put everything to 100 and checked randomize 4) then i made a new layer and added the render how i like it As for the effects in V2 and V3, this is what i did - I went to filter>decor>old photo... for V1 for V2 i went to filter>decor>fuzzy border... That enough?
Not to be mean or flame or anything of the sort but no it's not enough... It's simple, which is good in some cases but not this one... I mean it's not up to ur potential and with a little more work I think you could make one a lot better... Here is my COD4 sig that took about 10 minutes... It wasn't hard to make or anything but it came out good and probably took the same amount of time as urs (no offence) but this one is better (again no offence) and I think you could make something as good as it if you tried.
its ok, im not taking it offensively lol Thing is, i use GIMP, and i dont know what C4d's are, or how you make the lines like the green ones in your COD4 one. I try but i dont know how to do that stuff so it looks... boring i guess you could say. I need HELP!
The lines are a C4d that I found on planetrenders.net in the abstract renders section... A C4d is a Cinema 4dimentional render that is just a background/effecty thing that u typically use to accent ur render. Also is there a Gimp user that knows how to Color Dodge in Gimp?
