This is my 3rd map and by far my best. this map incorporates parts of arena style maps and room based maps. i feel that this map is a collision of these map styles.one half of the map is just like a typical 2 base map with a high tower in the middle of 2 bases, but the other half of the map is a courtyard with a power-up in the middle and a walk-way along the outside. i have been forging all day every day for about a week. if i had to guess the amount of time put into the map i would say at least 50 hours. weapons: br 4 10sec carb 4 90 sec mauler 1 120sec 4 frag 30sec 4 plasma 30sec Custom power-up(damage amplifier) 1 120sec a lot of you are probably wondering why i chose a damage amp. for those who don't know what it is it is a power-up that makes your attacks stronger. here are some facts about the DAMP -15 seconds duration -300% damage(2-shot br, 3-shot br to body, 1 hit nade, 1 hit melee) -forces your colour to white there are probably skeptics but trust me when i say this, it plays well and it's something worth fighting for. p.s. all the DAMP gametypes are in my sig (link at bottom). they have normal MLG settings with custom power-up traits changed. pictures: main bridges high tower A-base top mid courtyard B fence ramp inside B-base high tower looking down at floor IMHO pictures don't do this map justice, it really needs to be played on for you to grasp the concept and enjoy all the gameplay elements this map has to offer. I just had a look at this map like half and hour ago with super trooper. From what I saw of it, I was impressed. The damp is something that hasn't been used much. So I can't wait to see how it plays. There were a few flaws; such as cracks, the crane and getting out of the map. I think you should put the flag spawn underneath the bases, this will make it harder to cap and it won't be as easy to take it up top mauler. The courtyard has a very good design and so do the bases. With the crane I think you should cover it and make a second one on the other side, doing this it will make it harder to throw grenades to where the fence wall ramps are. With a bit more time and forging this map has some great potential. If you need any help send me and message and I will love to help test and give you ideas.
Really great map. It's probably the best MLG map that's split from all the others. What I mean by that is that it isn't the same as all other MLG maps, like Ons. or other 4 base/2 base maps. Love it.
Yeah everyone orange hit in on the head, this a great and unique mlg map that has the Lightz mlg seal of approval. D/l now as you have to play this map to fully appreciate it.
i made a few changes today to make the map play a little more smooth. i am going to make a few more changes and release it as v3 probably by the weekend
I know this drives you insane but you should probably try and smooth some of the un-alligned stuff out just to make this map more of a complete package. Also I have a geometry. suggestion I'll show you since you said you're going with OS instead of damp.
This map is nice yet it's only good with the fact that there's no uniqueness to it. The interlocking is better than the usual stuff so 7/10. see--that's what you would call constructive criticism
No shut the **** up. You haven't played it and you make unintelligent spam comments that include a nonsensical rating and a comment about interlocking. Just because you wrote a couple more words your uninformed spam posts don't mean anything more. This is a very unique mlg map if you've played it. V3 is now out on wheezy's fileshare I think, I'm guessing he'll update this later but he's made some improvements.
this is probably one of the most unique MLG maps on this site. there is no other MLG map like this. its the first map i ever made that isnt based off of any other map previously made. ummm The Pit has an area called courtyard.......... so i guess you didn't patent that.
