This is a rookie attempt map so please don't criticize for some bad forging. You many think there are some faults in this map but everything was made for a reason. (hint the box walls) This map is made for fun and not serious competition. I don' know if this is actually playable...Anyways, in your third to last screenshot, you didn't interlock the floor walls (HEHE OXYMORON!) which is a serious and unprofessional problem. I read your post and how it's made by a rookie so it's decent if you consider that, BUT not download worthy. Also (though you have four posts) welcome to Forgehub! Thanks for posting properly but this map needs more work, add something special....3/5.
its small/open and kinda sloppy-no offence, but there is still a HUGE area of foundry that is unused, and not blocked off, its just too empty
It's not a bad effort for a rookie map. It has intention of building a structure of some sort. It only looks a little messy because you haven't honed in on interlocking or geo-merging skills yet. (I did see a little interlocking though). You should read the Forging 101 section on these topics because they are great guides. I'm not sure you need so many powerups because the person with them can own the rest! I would say that the map is a bit open but as you make more and more maps I'm sure that you'll learn where cover is appropriately needed. I think you could build a few more structures with the resources you may have left. One thing I strongly consider changing though is the weapos list. I know power weapons are fun to play with but they can ruin the maps gameplay. I suggest removing: -2 shotguns -fuel rod gun -1 ghost -2 rockets -spartan laser -2 sniper rifles -all warthogs -1 beam rifle -all choppers This is because it makes the gameplay too powerful (if that makes sense) and is unbalenced. I would add (in strateigic places around the map): -Around 7 Battle Rifles -1 plasma rifle -4 Assualt rifles -Grenades around the map (not too many) -1 plasma pistol -1 SMG (prefrably by the other) I do appreciate that you have tried to make a well presented map post as the pictures are correctly 'hosted'. Also the map has potential, but needs more to it. If this post hasn't shed some light in some possible areas, please read the guides to weapon placement etc on the forum. Good luck with your future maps.
not very well-forged by anyone's standards. It seriously lack in the fact that it doesn't have the little things that normal forges have that sets them apart from many others. Like up turned boxes for instance.

I hate to say it, but there are so many well made maps out there that the only way to get some play time is to be one of the best. People spend so much time on their maps hopping to get it played and is it fair to them to play this map instead.
Its my first map I made and this was like a stepping stone to make me into a better forger. (btw power up things are tricks)
dude I actually like this map. This is one of the best rookie maps I've ever seen. With some honage of your skills, you'll be a master one day. 4/5. Good job! Keep at it!
