Introduction: This is the Final Defence. This is a survival map of tactics and teamwork, bullets and blood, cramped corridors and endless entrances. Final Defence is an abandoned weapons warehouse, filled with containers which contain sufficient weapons to survive the zombie hordes. The only problem is the weapons are in lockdown, and cannot be reached till the timer counts down and an entrance is provided. But when a weapons container is unlocks, so does a different route into the base. Try to stay alive till the timer hits zero.

Intel: The key to survival on this map is teamwork and tactics. Without working as a team and suppressing fire, zombies are able to break through and slaughter everyone. When the human player spawns, there is only one entrance: at first. This is the corridor downstairs which is straight ahead of you. DO NOT GO OUTSIDE or you will die. Defend the corridor either via the barricade available, with about 80% of the team defending down the corridor with battle rifles, while the other 20% defend the corner through the netting with SMGs. Keep it in mind, this tactic will not last forever, since other entrances will open, so it’s up to you to figure out how you will survive. Advice for the zombies; don’t give up at the first route in, with a little patience, other entries to the base will appear, giving you access to critical defending points. Fortunately, there is hope for humans, the weapons supplies provide sufficient weaponry to survive, if it is used in the correct manner. The key to this map is use your brain, or lose it.

The gameplay is very tactical, since trying to find the perfect spot to defend on the map is very difficult. The map's cramped, short corridors mean that bulltrues are very common, with zombies practically inches from killing you. Horror moments on the map are consistent, and you get a sense of paranoia, not due to the zombies, but the routes which mean that zombies take to get in, such as drop through the hole in the roof. Players have to be quick to defend sections of the map, as zombies gain other routes into the base. The weapon usage varies throughout the level as the routes into it vary, and the map becomes claustraphobic and players move from Battle rifles defending the main corridor to shotguns as the distance between you and the zombies shrinks. Also, the fact all the weapons are found in the weapons containers downstairs, a difficult position to defend, means that the soldiers have to make a difficult choice between weapons and the best defensive positions, especially when they are forced to retreat to higher levels due to being overwhelmed downstairs. This is a difficult level to successfully complete, but is fun trying to do so. The timer mechanisms and overall structure of the map gives it a highly unique experience, which is reflected in the enjoyment of the players who use the map.

For the full experience, this map should be played with the variant, VIRUS STRAIN 57, which can also be found on my file share.

Please don't post any threads without content of the actual map, welcome to ForgeHub though but you got to read the rules first.

Here's an simple tutorial on how to post Screenshots using PhotoBucket, which is free.

If you want to post a screenshot you’ll need to have it hosted, to do that, create a free account on like PhotoBucket. Then you’ll need to have the screenshots you want on your computer, to do that, simply go to Bungie.net, go to your account, click on the screenshots to go to the screenshot viewer, then right click it, save the Screenshot, and go back to PhotoBucket again.
Now, when you’re at PhotoBucket, log in, go to your account, click on: Choose Files, then obviously, choose the Screenshots you want to have, (use CTRL to choose more screenshots at once.)
When theyre uploaded, click on the [/IMG], without the space and go back to your post.
Right click on your post and paste it, now you have one screenshot!
If you don’t like this method, try copying the Direct Link and then go to oyur post click on the ‘Insert Image’ button and copy your Direct Link. Now you have yourself a screenshot aswell!

Ask a mod, if you aren't going to post threads with an actual map, then just don't post, just helping you.

Great...how many times in the past two weeks have there been posts like this (no useful pics, no info, bad post, etc.)? I've lost count. Honestly.

i'm pretty sure he didn't break any rules. doesn't he have 24 hours to get pictures up? if he's finishing tomorrow he should be fine. i'm not exactly supporting what he did, cuz i think you should just wait and post the whole thing, but i'm just sayin he technically didn't do anything wrong

Ok, just make sure next time you make a map make sure its finished before you post it. Because other than that it is spam
BTW welcome to forgehub take some time to read through the rules, and you should be fine.
