I don't know where to put this so I'll put it here.

for all those with halo 3 clips they want on their computer but don't have a capture card GeeVeeGrab will capture them for you and then upload them to their site where you can then download them for editing etc.

Yeah it's back up but it sucks. It takes 3 days, and like half the time they get a video that isn't even yours. It's not worth it.

Well, at least I won't need to get a capture card if I want to make movies.

GeeVee Grab is not worth it. My friends got a video capture card and absolutely love it. I'm not sure what the prices on them are but having to wait 3 days to maybe get your video up and they leave the stupid progress bar or whatever it is at the top of the screen, and that kinda cuts down on the quality.

I'm pretty glad I didn't wait for this to get back up. Capture cards ftw!

I tried it twice. The quality is terrible, there's some beeps/clicks when the clip first starts, and they leave the progress bar on top. The quality also gets worse as you rip it or reupload it to Youtube, although from what I can tell, it's Youtube's fault for automatically compressing any video regardless of how crappy it already is.

I'm definitely getting a capture card soon. I just keep putting it off. Actually, I only need a splitter and something to edit the clip. I have a DVD recorder, so I just need to transfer it onto the computer after that. And then I'll have it in all of it's Widescreen, 720p glory!

Why would you need a splitter? TV's have out plugs these days you know. I just have a little mini TV next to my computer and then whenever I want to capture something I move my xbox upstairs and capture through the mini TV (xbox is connected to the TV, TV out is connected to the capture card)

    Quality?

I'm not sure TVs are equipped to minimize packet loss.
