LIKE A WHOLE NEW MAP, TAKES PLACE INSIDE - It's not a normal sandtrap modification, it's set in a closed environment perfectly suitable for your average custom game of 2-8 players!

Hello everyone, hope you enjoy the map and remember - like the video will tell you - please don't bash or downgrade the map, instead submit your feedback so we can help make this map better and more fit for the community with the next release. Until then, I hope you enjoy this first 'early release' of a map I've been building with a friend and playing with many other friends having a great time on. In this version gametypes supported are variants of Slayer, Team Slayer, Oddball, Infection, Juggernaut, and 1 Flag CTF. I also highly recommend eliminating stating grenades any time you play. I made a slayer gametype suitable for this map called ''Hell'' linked below for download.

[HIGHLY recommened slayer gametype. Please don't put any exploses, or their may be the ability to get outside the map] If anyone knows how to keep the boxes in place even if there is explosions, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

Good concept, original (and on Sandtrap, hard to do...), and awesomely artistic screenshots. It's really a ton of fun to be packed in there, but with room to breathe. It kind of feels less like Sandtrap and more like an old Egyptian tomb, or something of the sort. It reminds me of an old Perfect Dark level called...Temple, maybe?

The firebombs make it really fun, too.

Oh, and the movie is another thing that makes me recommend this map. Clearly, a lot of effort went into it. This is visible from the screenies, movies, and especially the detailed scenery and the sort.

    5/5.

I didn't even think to make a map there, nice job. Que'd it up. Always nice to see small maps!

On another note, what kind of CC do you have?

Very creative way to get a smaller map into the Halo 3 lineup. You could even slightly expand it into the central tunnel with teleporters.

You can also use weapon holders and/or teleporter nodes to keep the boxes from moving. I think it's in forging 101 somewhere, and I've used that technique on some of my maps.

I downloaded the map last night and fixed all the exits. There is no way that i've found to get out now. grenades, rockets, splazer, nothing. I tested all the exits with a generous volley of explosive and violent tests and they couldn't be moved enough to escape. I really like the idea, good job.

    looks awesome!

Check out forge 101 to see how to keep the boxes in place,
well what you do is put teleporters and other non-movable objects on or next to the boxes.
