I've been looking at this forum and all the 'sig shops' located here by all kinds of different members and i thought, why not just make one BIG sig shop that anyone can request a sig and then one of the sig makers will make it? This is my question to you Forgehub members, why not?
Because certain people cannot work with certain people, and the difference of sig shops allows a user to request a different style signature banner everytime. That's why.
I was actually just thinking about that; there could be one big thread where everyone requests a sig and a style and whoever specialises in that style makes the requested sig.
We could make a list of banners and have the requester specify the details of the style wanted. Why can't they work together? They have egos that are too large to allow them to stoop to the level of teamwork? Lets see how many people we can get to support this idea. I'll make a sig banner for it if it helps any.
And the group could have a cool name, like the ForgeHub Signature Craftsmen or something and have a little banner in their sigs, just like other groups around the site (ABC Crew, Barcode, etc.)
Yeah, that would be tons better. Then if you had a sig shop, it would get moved there and not get piled under other threads. (Cnc threads, etc.)
Actually, i would agree with the thread for sig shops idea. Then, a sig requester could look in that thread (which would be a sticky) and then choose whose sig shop they wanted in the posts.
that is a great idea, so the forum is so cluttered with sig shops and the like, eithermaking a sub forum or a single group that you could join would be good. you could nominate somenone to be the head and anyone who wants to enter has to show there work to that person and see if they are admitted

No. First of all, fights over requests might pop up. Two, people go to different sig shops because they want the person(s) in them to make one for them because they like their particular style. If they can't request who they want it from then they could get a sig that they don't like. Thus leading to requesting again and again....
Ah thats true, my shop was somehow an epic failure, so if you guys don't mind I will be taking random requests from people, since my shop thread was burried some how...and as .Core would say: sadface.

It seems like a lot of sig shops are getting buried because everyone makes a new thread on a random sig every 10 mins looking for cNc instead of just making a gallery. It'd be much easier if the section was organized into galleries, sig shops (with several different ones), and general. It'd reduce the clutter and threads won't be buried before anyone gets to see them. Really, I think this section is the most viewed or second most viewed on FH, with off-topic along with it. So it needs to be more organized. There's just too many people in here for it not to be divided further. edit: I'ma go make a thread in Customer Service, so make sure everyone posts in it and pushes for it.
WAIT I JUST GOT A BRILLIANT IDEA! We can make a sub forum with "Galleries" as its dubbed name and then everyone can just update that and people can look at your work and if they are pleased they can PM you to make them a signature. I wish I could Moderate this lol, I have big plans for G&A, art is like 45% of my life.
