I didn't realize the draft was going to happen either. My team is pretty decent though. I am happy auto-draft picked Ricky at 93rd because I think he is going to have another great season. A few drops and trades, and I am good to go.

Yeah the draft was great and I agree, HTL has a nice looking team but I'm happy with mine. I still think Desean Jackson is going to own this year.

Im always open for trades, guys. Im a very active manager, and I tend to make several moves each year.

First of all, **** the Giants, Mind my French.

I'm a really, eally big Pats fan, Like a tailgate everygame w/ my friends and whatnot, and I have to say I don't feel it for them this year, of course they're gonna make the playoffs with the easiest schedule in the NFL, and only 3 possible games to lose, but as far as playofffsa go, I think the line is gonna die on them againtnhis year, and they're gonna lose in the AFC title gae, or Superbowl...=(

Fantasy football, I'm gonna win, no doubt.

So you're saying that the Pats going 12-4 is completely impossible? If they lose more than 3 games, is the world going to come to an end?

Sports are unpredictable. **** happens. Injuries happen. Teams collapse.

Whoever predicted the Red Sox to come back from 3-0 against the Yankees? It's a bit too early to talk...

I agree with you there but I still think he is right with believing the pats aren't going to lose much. They have an easy schedule and are in a lame division. I don't think they'll lose more than four games. Anyway, the point of this thread is to make predictions even if they are inaccurate.

Never said they would, I'm just saying that there's no guarantees. And saying that the team only has 3 possible games to lose isn't a prediction, it's an unjustified guarantee.

There is (IMO) a 95% chance that the Pats will win the division, but I'll say that it's only a 70% chance that they win 13 or more games.

Just trying to stand up for Gang Green.

Go Steelers, kick some commie ass! Rofl. I think that the steelers will do well this year, but I am just hopeful. My dad is from Pitt.

I agree, Pittsburgh has a nice looking team. Big Ben is constantly improving as is Santonio Holmes. Veteran wideout Hines Ward is still a beast and willie parker can ru well. Now with mendenhall, they have another Jerome Betisish guy on the team. There defense looks solid and so does there O line. So yeah, pittsburgh will be good this year.

Wow... what a difference a preseason makes. How much has changed in just a few weeks, since I threw out some initial predictions... Of course it's not worth updating - they're just for fun and crazy predictions and whatnot - but I'm definitely worried for the G-men. I know it's just one key loss (Osi), but comparing this team to last year's, they've got some real questions now. I'm starting to think they may come to regret getting rid of Shockey.

Oh, and the Lions are now well on their way to the first 23-0 season ever (includes preseason). It's almost an inevitability now. I just hope they don't choke coming down the home stretch.

Season starts tonight, Redskins at Giants. I have Portis playing in the fantasy league and I am hoping for some big numbers. Man, I'm so pumped for the season. Today was kind of ruined by my first day of school :(

Thanks lights, I see michael turner doing well week one too. I wanted him but you drafted him earlier then I expected. He's a big sleeper too me.

    Here is my other team:
    Final team:
    QB - Carson Palmer
    RB - Marion Barber
    RB - Brandon Jacobs
    WR - Randy Moss
    WR - Plaxico Burress
    WR - Santonio Holmes
    TE - Chris Cooley
    W/T - Joey Galloway
    W/R - Julius Jones

    BN - Rashard Mendenhall
    BN - Ahmad Bradshaw
    BN - Tony Scheffler
BN - Jon Kitna (I actually think he makes a good backup QB, being a starter, but idk)
    BN - Sidney Rice
    BN - Devin Hester (woot)

    K - Nate Kaeding
    BN - Lawrence Tynes

    DEF - New York Giants
    BN - Houston

    D - Mike Vrabel
    D - Ellis Hobbs
    DB - Adam Jones
    DB - Dustin Fox
    DL - Sean Conover
    DL - Jason Babin

So thats my final roster. I'm pretty happy with it, tho I'm not sure if my starting lineup is perfect as it is or if i should be switching in Kitna, I'm not really sure how it works.

I feel like I could trade potentially, but not sure, either.

Edit: I've switched out Jones for Hester for now.

    My FH Team:
    QB - Drew Brees
    RB - Earnest Graham
    RB - Kevin Smith
    RB/WR - Chris Chambers
    WR - Randy Moss
    WR - Calvin Johnson
    TE - Antonio Gates
    DEF - Chargers
    K - Nick Folk

    Bench:
    Donaven McNabb
    Jeremy Shockey
    Felix Jones
    Kevin Smith
    Donald Lee
    Tatum Bell
    Donald Lee
    Devin Hester
    Shaun McDonald

Insane, I have never played in a fantasy league with IDP's but juding the rest of your team, your receivers own, Palmer is solid, Barber is a beast, cooley is a good tight end and kaeding is a good kicker. I don't like brandon jacobs this year (IDK why, just my gut) but you have his backup which is good. Also, mendenhall has potential for lots of TD's.

All in all, your team looks solid and I might like it even more than our FH league team you have.

To be honest, I think the Kevin Smith announcement just today brings my FH team down a little, with Bell gone. I think my other one might do better, because of a few holes I have in my FH one. Also, a few guys in both could either do great, or horrible, depending on what happens. Hows my starting lines btw? This is my first time doing a league, I know my football fairly well but not like some of you guys do, lol

For your starters in the FH one, I like your wideouts and your QB but not your RB's so much. You have the best tight end and the best D and possibly the best kicker. In your other league, I really love your wideouts, so keep them. For running backs, Marion Barber is a solid number one but I think Brandon Jacobs is replaceable. Also, Julius Jones is good but he'll be splitting carries. If you really need something tho, you should trade one of your wideouts cause you have four that all have the potential to get 1000 yds.

I'm only sorry you have to be in a league with me because me team is the epitome of rape.

Damn, Portis sucked it up, as did Cooley. Brandon Jacobs was a beast though. Maybe I don't know what the hell I'm doing.
