I got some videos (among other things) that I want put together for a movie, but the only move making software is "Windows movie maker". The problem is, windows is saying I don't have the right "codec"... Here's what I need: Option 1: What am I doing wrong, and where would I install this program? Option 2: Are there any other free programs out there outside the use of stealing? Kthx.
I have no clue what this is about, maybe it's just an error in your computer, maybe try restarting it, delete some temporary files and then try again. And you could try searching that 'codec' on Google just for sure.
Domy i wish i could help you but the only thing that comes to mind in video them and make it so that the parts connect and then post to youtube and you have a movie
You could try Microsoft.com for updates to windows movie maker to try and obtain the right codec but thats kind of a long shot due to how annoyingly unfriendly MS.com is to users. Might work though.

Thanks guys. I sorta forgot about this thread, but the video is finished. The only reason I'm refraining from posting it is because of Inane... ergh. ~ Locked and stuff.
