Hey guys, I just finished my map in foundry and i wanted to use a 'neutral flag' gametype. (in which 2 teams fight for the 1 flag. Unfortunately, I guess i don't have the gametype for neutral (i guess bungie didnt make it) and I dont really know how to find it or make it...any help would be great (+rep) because im not sure how to make it myself if it comes down to that.
You have to set the game up for nuetral bomb and place the bomb in the middle. And instead of bringing the bomb to the other base, You just make it so you arm the bomb at your base. Put shield doors around the bomb area so you won't die when it explodes unless you want it to kill you. Then make it so the bomb arms instantly and blows up instantly. And there you have it. Make sure to change it to 1 round and 5 or 3 captures to win. Hope it helps.
you can do it with a flag aswell. change the game-type to ctf, delete the existing flag re-spawn and capture points, then place 1 flag re-spawn point where you want it and then two flag capture points. set the flag re-spawn point for team three and the two capture points for attackers and defenders. I'm pretty sure you can do that, soz if you cant
Dude you almost got my hopes up. I went and tried it myself and I'm like yes its gonna work and I load up the game and since there is no third team, the middle flag doesn't spawn (because its set to team 3). I got sad.
I wanted the same thing. But you have to do one flag. Btw, setting the flag spawn to neutral doesnt work. Maybe we could write to bungie to get a gametype like this?
thanks alot guys, i +rep you both for at least trying to help...so it turns out there is no way to have a neutral flag gametype? ah damn, what can i do in place? the way the map works is like the 2 teams spawn in the back where that wall seperates the 2 sides or rooms and they have to fight their way to the middle i guess you can say and take the flag back to their base. hmm i guess i'll have to give more thought on it. thanks again guys!
