Okay you know the drill... Please CnC. V.2. Fixed up clipping mask. Okay.... Drum roll please..................................... So I changed the BG and found a color scheme, added some lighting effects, decided not to have mist because he is ominous enough and now I just need to get some CnC....
well the render looks good and the little lines coming off are good but I'm not to crazy about becing able to see the render in the little spaces especialy in the top left corner you can clearly tell its the render replaced there... Spoiler I'll give it a 4/5 Edit: Oh and I almost forgot it has that ahh!! the brightness thing about it agian...
sorry dude, but the crazy colors looks like poor use of clipping masks.....srry what you could do, is get the cloud effect, once again, but this time more rugged, at the base of him, not too strong though, as for him to feel more mysterious, and change the colors to something more eye pleasing, as they do clash like crazy!
Yeah... This was a spur of the moment idea that wasn't well though out. I might redo the whole thing but I kinda like the clashing it makes it more vivid which I like but yeah it is kinda eh.
Hmm, I have to agree the background does not really work for me too many colours to think of but I know that the effect in his hand is hand made because I just saw that render about 10 minutes ago.
It's too messy and that cloudy thing behind him just looks weird and the render/stock doesn't blend or have any colors that go with the sig and there's no flow.
I can tell Alby loves it... Any suggestions on how to make it better by tweaking it and not just redoing it?
Do some gradient maps, get rid of that cloud thing, and blend the rend a bit. And get rid of the background and put something there instead.
Do not forget the lighting source that would help as well, and since you are using photoshop mess with the layer settings like "Overlay" "Soft Light" "Hard Light" etc. I have 4-5 of those in each sig depending on what level of contrast and colour I want it, I will make a sig without layer settings or fill/adjustment layers and you will see that it looks weird without them...
too many colours @.@ and not much flow. Everything is going crazy! tone it down to mabye a family of colours. Reds, oranges, yellows etc.
