Biggest Fail Thread© Okay so this thread is dedicated to all of your or someone else's fail moments. This is for halo 3 only. Not real life or halo 2. Only halo 3. You can post as many stories as you want, provide a pic, or video if you would like. Okay, so I was playing on Construct, and I had the sword. I was chasing a guy on the bottom floor, away from the gold lift, and I kept running at him until he walked off the edge without knowing it. That is one of my many fail stories. (I had hundreds last night)
When I had a sword (The Pit) and some other dude had rockets and camo. He was about to shoot at me and I didn't even know it. His teammate spawned in front of him and his teammate shot and killed them both. I loled.
A friend and I were driving the Warthog around on a Sandtrap Big Team Slayer match when one of the enemy team grabbed the laser not 30 feet away from us and began preparing to zap our hog. There was no way I could kill him in time with the turret so my driver did the only thing possible and attempted to splatter the laserman with the hog before he could fire. The laser hit the hog directly at point blank range a split-second before we hit him, cleaved the whole of the hog's right front bumper off, took out the driver's shields and removed less than half of mine. Aside from that, we survived and drove away unscathed. The laserman, however, did not survive what was left of the the hog's tusks.
I once got raped in Team Tactical. 2 vs 2 Well the other guy lost a team mate because he left so me and my friend thought we were going to rape him. The guy was a Sergeant (The two gold strips). Well... I guess I miscalculated his skills, big time. We lost 0-25

This would've been a while ago, but I was playing TS on Standoff, I didnt realise it but I'd gone near an active grenade with a full warthog. Well long story short we went flying off the edge and thethrower of the grenade picked up the triple kill. It was what helped them win. Other fails of mine is Tremors on Rats Nest, numerous times I've driven off of the edge.
i once was playing oddball on snowbound, and one guy got it and camped behind a shield door, for 49 seconds, until finally someone killed him, so now all he has to do is pick it up and he wins right? well i go in and get it for 50 seconds and the win.
I was playing the MLG playlist, narrows flag ,and I stated that all of ther team was dead and told a kid to take the flag. He then told me that that is what the team is expecting and we should take it when they are all alive to catch them unawares. WTF.
That's what pretty much happened to me, except it was the opposite. It was months ago, but I was playing Lone Wolves: Oddball on Epitaph. I was the first to grab the ball, and started running around the map avoiding everybody. Within the first two minutes, I was at 99. Someone finally killed me with rockets, and all I had to do was touch the damn thing. Then someone decided to camp with the ball in a corner with a bubble shield and gravity hammer. He won with 100 pts, I came in second -_-
Once on Valhalla I fired a splazer round at a guy in a ghost. The beam just barely skimmed the top of the guy's head, therefore killing him but not destroying his ghost. The ghost, now without a driver, kept sliding across the ground for about 20 feet and hit one of my teammates. I got a betrayal.
EPIC FAIL - View ASSETS. I Suicide with hammer and launch my bro's mongoose. I have more to tell, but not providing video right now. Double Betray- It's the 4th of July playlist and we're playing CTF on Avalanche. My brother and his friend on their mongoose come whipping around the far turn (near the cliff) as am I. I'm currently in my Warthog going mach speed and the the two of us are unaware of eachothers presence. As soon as I know it boom "holy **** Steve!" I hit his mongoose head on and him and his friend burst into flames. WOAH -2 points for me ^_^. good laughs. Wtf- It's a good ol' Ranked big team on Valhalla and I'm newly spawned back at the base near the cliff. My bro is sitting there in the Warthog turret waiting for me to drive him, but something gnarlier caught my eye. Without moving an inch I sat there staring at a Banshee spinning out into the cliff, my teammate had lasered it. The banshee smacked right into the face of the cliff and starting to descend with rapid speed. I, still watching wide-eyed, take one step foward for an even better view of the fireworks and then BLAM the banshee hit me xD and my teammate got a deducted point for betrayal (he lasered). My brother still watching in the turret literally a foot away then gets pwned by a full Warthog the opposing team rode by with. OMFG Hogs can fly!- I'm happy to say this comes with a video (courtesy of Gamevee) but I shall explain anyway. Once again a big team battle but on Standoff. It's another stand and watch moment but one everyone could enjoy (on my team at least xD) What happened was A gauss warthog from my team was going at it with another Warthog of the opposing team. The Guass laser hit the back tire of the opposing teams warthog right on the bottom of the tire causing it to take flight, arching right over the battlefield. The warthog would've crushed me if I hadn't moved, but I figured I would to finish it. I stood there watching as when it hit the ground It bounced into one of those ramps and got more air. Upon coming to a rest I come outa nowhere and demolish the two with a missle pod. Video- OMFG Hogs fly! One more :] Just today about two hours ago, I was playing some Braaaaaains on Isolation. I was in one of thee notorious camping spots for Braaaaains which would be The Blue Room. I was sitting in there as one of the last two humans (the other beside me) when about 5 zombies charged the room. I thinking I'd get at least a few kills shot the fusion coil getting me a Killtacular on the zombies running around the pillar, the blast killed them in all directions. The other human **** his pants going WOAHH. that's it really. Hope you enjoyed.
BtB on Sandtrap I grabbed the splaser and got 7 kills with it then got 4 kills with br then 3 kills with missle pod (making me 14-0) and for my 15th kills i blasted a banshee but it crash lands on me destroying my perfection.
On vahalla i had the missle pod and shot a banshee hit my teammate killing him and then killed the banshee then the parts hit two of my teammates. i got booted shortly after
Once in MLG NArrows (CTF) I was running the flag. And I was near the top mig edge. I jumped and someone threw a randow frag under me rite when I jumped. I fell off, lost the flag, and obviously it was reset. I got raped by my team afterward, in fact, they banned me from ever flag taking. =(
Okay, so I was just playing some custom games a few hours ago and I wanted to play "The hole v2" So I start it up with 14 people who have never played the game before. Right when the game starts, everyone is like ''what do we do?" So I tell them to all run into the back wall where all the teleporters are, and EVERY one of them did that. It was the funniest thing ever.
Team Snipers on Standoff. 4 v 4. my team is a user with his two guests. Game starts, i am destroying, sniper spree, sharpshooter, its going great. I needed one more kill to get a perfection. i got it with 10 seconds left and one of the guests betrays me, not only losing my perfection but actually losing the game 49-50. sigh...it hurts.
Once on narrows, me and a member of the opposing team both went in the man-cannons at the same time but at different ends. We ended up hitting each other but the difference was I landed on the other side somehow. He didn't... Also on oddball on narrows, I got the oddball, jumped down to under the level and got to that hiding spot. Countless people jumped down to try and kill me...they failed.
Biggest fail by far has to be sticking myself because somebody threw a Bubble shield at me. That or the infamous sweeping into cover just as you fire the rocket. Oh and jumping off Blackout as i try to jump from top mid to Sniper ramp. I jumped completely over the ledge your meant to jump onto to get up.
