    PhotoSynth Site

Photosynth is a software application from Microsoft Live Labs and the University of Washington that analyzes digital photographs to build a three-dimensional point cloud of a photographed object.[1] Pattern recognition components compare portions of images to create points, which are then compared to convert the image into a model. Users are able to view and generate their own models using a software tool available for download at the Photosynth website.

That does seem like a good thing for posting maps. Looks kinda drawing-like though. Good find!

Looks quite nice. I'd rather have that new resizing program that's being made. I can't recall what it's called, but it can resize images without distorting the scale, even if you're not adjusting it by scaling it.

Oh, it's harder to explain that it is to see it... I need to find a video.

    Got it!

I think my co-worker showed me this, but it was a long time ago. Just a video of it, but still.

I don't really get it. Is it an application that you put on your PC, or is it online based? Also, can you do it on a Mac?
