This post is in every way a winner. Those games were all great (countless hours of Brute Force + co-op), and you remembered what we were talking about. I.E. NOT FAR CRY 2, FABLE 2, FALLOUT 3, SAINTS ROW 2, ETC.
Hey, that's more like it! I remember playing that in a closed beta a while back. It was fun, but my computer clearly wasn't up to the task of playing that at more than 20 fps. It was fun, though.
I am actually looking forward to Mirrors Edge. I like all that running and sliding and jumping stuff.
Can't aggree more. Saints Row 2 is sooo under-rated, Open World/Sandbox is a genre, GTA IV is not the only one! Mirrors Edge is also looking awesome. Prototype is a game I'm also looking forward to, is made by Free Radical and is an open world game where you play as a mutant and go around using your super powers.
I'm looking forward to the release of Perfect World which is not very well known. Come to think of it, most games I'm looking forward are pretty mainstream
