A map inspired by the movie "Aliens."

    Map Link=The Hive
    Description-a map where zombies can attack from any direction(from above,below, behind and in front) and where people need to work as a group to survive. Each player randomly receives one of the six character classes.

    The Classes
    Engineer- wields a battle rifle, 2 fragmentation grenades and a deployable cover to block off pathways for aliens.
    Support- wields 2 fully-loaded SMG's, 2 plasma grenades and 2 fragmentation grenades.
    Soldier- wields an assault rifle, 2 fragmentation grenades and the option to swap your magnum.
    Marksman- wields a sniper rifle and 2 spike grenades.
    Demolitions- wields a rocket launcher and 2 plasma grenades.
    Commander- wields shotgun, 2 firebomb grenades and motion sensors.

    Pics & Places
    Sewers- The Sewers is placed directly under the hive which is used by the aliens to provide a stealthy route to ambush the humans from below. And for any humans who fall into the sewers is a deathtrap.

    Hive- The Hive is the main area of the map where there a multiple areas of interest for both races.The aliens have two main areas to attack from the sewers and the vent shafts on the roof. For the humans they have the option to pick up the flamethrower which is the a room to the left of the hive and the hive has the entrance to the cargo bay.

    Cargo Bay- The Cargo bay is most likely the safest place in the map. The cargo bay is very spacious and there is only one side of entrance and there is a machine gun turret in the bay. The con for the humans is there's only one way in and out.

    The Hive which is the main room in the map. Which can take you directly to the cargo bay or the sewers. Of course aliens have a tendency to drop down from the ventilation shafts from the roof.

    The Sewers directly underneath the hive is favored by the aliens for a great sneak attack. Also humans can get trapped if they fall in.

    The Cargo Bay "probably the safest place on the map." The cargo bay is the easiest place on the map to defend with only one side of entrance.

    your pics suck. take better ones.

    Maybe if you interlock the pallets into the floor then it would look nicer.

    looks a little empty in the pictures maybe think about adding some more objects if you have money

    Ok since its probably your first map post here are a few tips to help clean it up. First I recommend pictures that grab the entire room with all the details. Even 1 picture from one of the top angles so we see the entire thing since its on foundry. Map the map look neater by making it nicer and even or even interlock objects so it shows us that you put time into the map, also interlocking = smooth surfaces or turn a double box over. Also make sure you put scenary into the rooms just like in the actual movie. You can also take pictures from the movie and incorporate them into your map. For example my warsaw uprising map for the shell shocked contest. You can get the link in my signature, which will show you an example of adding real life pictures into my map.

    Ok i regret for the mistakes i made i was not aware of interlocking when i made this map. I will take better pics when i put the interlocking technique into play, but however for the scenery my budget is empty should i glitch the map to get an infinite budget or would that lag the map up?

    I highly recommend the glitch. It usually doesn't lag unless you have a large amount of fusion coils or something of the sort.

    I like this idea, but I would suggest starting from scratch after you read/watch all the Forging 101s. Those will help your map remarkably, and your map will be a ton better off afterwards. It's a nice idea...perfect it!
