.Core Tutorial For GIMP In this tutorial, we will be making something similar to this: - - -Step 1- - - First create a new blank canvas and bucket fill it with black. - - -Step 2- - - On a new layer, after resizing it, paste in your render in the middle. - - -Step 3- - - Duplicate your render layer and use the scale tool to resize it by 250% Place this below the regular render layer. - - -Step 4- - - On the duplicate layer, go to Filters>Noise>Spread and set it to 50. Go to Filters>Cartoon>Oilify with setting at 10. Go to Filters>Blur>Gaussian Blur with the settings at 8. Merge this layer down onto the black layer. - - -Step 5- - - Create a new layer. Use the gradient tool to create an FG to transparent/bi-linear gradient. Make sure to use a main color from your render for your FG. Extend the gradient out from the middle of your render. Set this layer mode to grain merge and place it below the render layer. *Optional* - - -Step 6- - - For a widescreen Border, go to Filters>Decor>Add Border. Set x to 1, and y to 6. Make sure the color is black, and hit OK.
yo first, nice end result, but the fact is that you need, need, need, NEED more pics, not just one....its a tutorial, and for it to be high quality, you're gonna want some more pics to guide you to the end result congrats!
