    Friend --

I have some important news, and I'm pleased to share it with you first.

I've chosen Joe Biden to be my running mate.

Joe and I will appear for the first time as running mates this afternoon in Springfield, Illinois -- the same place this campaign began more than 19 months ago.

I'm excited about hitting the campaign trail with Joe, but the two of us can't do this alone. We need your help to keep building this movement for change.

Please let Joe know that you're glad he's part of our team. Share your personal welcome note and we'll make sure he gets it:

    Thanks for your support,

    Barack

I think Joe is a good choice. He can help Obama win a wider variety of states. Thoughts?

I didn't know if Hildog would be a good choice or not. On one hand, a lot of her supporters are now independent and not sure to pick Obama or McCain, but on the other hand, a lot of Obama supporters don't care for her at all. I think that Joe Biden was a smart choice because he is overall pretty neutral compared to Hildog.

I'm not your friend, guy. And personally I could care less about Obama and his VP. Or about McCain. Oh if only there were better candidates.
