Having problem with reinstalling cs3. it will take a while to install, when its done, this pops up. Anyone know the solution?
I am not computer genius but maybe you should try and get rid of every single files from the program and re install but I would not take that advice just yet because I only know how to use Photoshop not really work a computer, but if nothing else prevails you might want to give it a try. I use CS2 instead though.
Is there anyway that you can view WHICH components failed to install? And when you uninstalled it previously, did you run the uninstall they gave you and let it run fully, restarting after it was uninstalled?
Do you have enough RAM or disk space left to install it? That's what happened for me when I tried installing flash. I didn't have enough space, so I cleared up my registry and got rid of unused files and programs (uninstall them); then it worked.
nope... and when it seems like its done, this is the next step. Yes i ran the uninstall they gave me, and yes i restarted. brand new laptop
It would say he doesn't have enough memory, not component failed though. Anyways, I would try Adobe - Forums. Register for an Adobe account (It's free) and post a topic in the Photoshop support area.
