Wow those 'ribs' in the overview look awesome, Im dling just for those. The tele writing is a good effect too. I also like how the defenders base changes for different gametypes, nice job man. EDIT: The download link was tricky to find...
Burial Mounds is definately one of my favorite as well. I just love those structures sticking out of the ground... just so interesting. Well anyways, glad you like it.
Excellence Wow! A lot of great maps being posted lately. The ribcage looks menacing, and you've made the greatest needler spawn ever seen. Really great centerpiece and very unique structures throughout. Can't wait to try it out.
finally, a unique, original, in depth map that is worth a download, rating, and comment. 5/5 and nice ideas... kind of reminds me of that one map in halo 2 (forget what it's called) and the geomerging looks amazing

yay you posted it, it looks really good, the ribcage is very sexy, i like the tunnel to the right of it, nice job on all the merging it looks top notch. the floating weapons and arrows are a nice touch, i am currently away but i will dl and play when i getback, great job =D

Definitly a great job. I like the merging with the pipes in the back, it looks like Foundry was made that way. I can tell you take alot of time and precision in merging and interlocking. This map is well worth downloading.
Umm, I have to ask, what merging with the pipes are you talking about? Do you mean the pipes that run under the center of Foundry or the other ones? Because I did no merging with the other ones...

Hey Brute Capt....Er, The Yellow lol. It has been a while, but you may have solidified Premium status with this map. I did a forgethrough and I have to say, I was impressed. I like the feel of the map overall and love the Ribcage. I'm interested in finding out how the FRC plays out since not a lot of people use it, but props on trying to reverse that trend. As soon as I get some games in on this map I will give a little more in depth analysis, but for now, excellent job my friend.
Oh! The FRC is the Fuel Rod Canon! Yeah, I love it. I think it is a great weapon to use on this map. A rocket launcher would have been disgutingly powerful and would have had the ability to take out the Ghost with no effort. But yeah, for the map I really tried to make it feel like a Forerunner area with Covenant tech. Did you get that impression?
oh yes, finally released a new map. I have already Dled and had a forgethrough... but im yet to play. so based off the forgethrough, all seems well. The "Ribcage" replicating the ruin from Burial Mounds is fantastic. Burial Mounds was one of my many favorite halo 2 maps. and the forerunner-like base curved from the foundry wall... is also a fantastic aesthetic feature. anyway, i took a close look at your weapon placement and spawns. Frankly, I have to disagree with what everybody is saying about the Fuel Rod Gun. Most people dont realize that rockets would be retarded in this map... as you stated before, it would take out rockets like that *snaps fingers* The Fuel Rod gun seems very fit for this map, with the narrow tunnels around the side, the fuel rod shots will bounce around the walls and it will be almost unpredictable where they will blow. And in the open areas, the shots travel relitavely slow, so there easy to avoid. it takes two good shots to get a kill with that thing. The weapons seemed pretty balanced. Beam Rifle on one side, Ghost on the other with Fuel Rod up for grabs. it makes almost perfect sense. however, im not too sure about asymmetric settings... i understand that the plasma cannon spawns in one sided games to protect from the ghost, but when the ghost is not in play, it would be nearly impossible to stop the plasma cannon with that fencewall right in front of it. im not completely sure of this cus i havent played the map yet... but i guess chucking some grenades under the turret would weaken him then you can take him out with an easy BR shot... Oh and maybe the "spawn in the other base" thing might cancel it out too. The Respawns. Also something i cant be too sure about having not played it, but you used the respawn zones to the full extent it seems. im not too sure about the spawn in the other base thing... but again, haven't played. but what i did notice is how low you made your respawn zones. I think you did this on purpose... but i really dont understand why. all you have to do is jump on one of those geomerged walls and your out of the respawn zones where your free to pick people off spawning in that same respawn zone that have no idea you are there.... same goes for that side tunnel with all the jumps. just jump on top of one of those and you can catch someone from behind who spawns on the lower level. * I'd like to state one more time that I haven't played the map yet so the above paragraph doesn't have as much significance Ehh, and i forgot to mention earlier, i like the little side tunnel where the plasma pistol spawns. it gives a good alternate route for the attackers to get to the defenders side when the middle section and other side tunnel are un safe. it makes a lot of sense because you can only jump into the tunnel through the attackers side. i like that. sort of like the tunnel in Last Resort, but this one has a bigger effect since it's a smaller map. Lastly, something to piss you off (lol, sorry). I did break the map, but with an exsisting weapon, unlike sage. This seems VERY hard to pull off in game so i wouldnt worry too much about it. you slide the fusion coil from the stair pillar thing over to the fence boxes. then you either throw a grenade down and jump or jump and shoot a Fuel Rod shot and you blast up on top of the fence box where you can then camp with a gauss warthog, grab a grav hammer and take a mongoose over to the other default foundry base via the back hallway. then you can grab active camo or overshield, jump on the mongoose, then on top of some bridges, then on top of the map, then back in the map. you succesfully bring in a grav hammer and camo/overshield and own for a short time (maybe.) you could also break out of the map wielding a beam rifle and camp on top of the level... But again, it seems VERY hard to pull off in game so i wouldnt worry too much about it. I look forward to playing some games on this and have even more feedback for you =D
