is small Slayer type map designed for 3-6 people. I tryed my best with the interlocking and I hope you enjoy it. (Note there will be a version 2 depending on the feed back.) Another Note: This is my first attempt at a Slayer map. Images: Base A: Base B: The M + Sword Spawn. Spike Grenades + Shotgun spawn: Plasma Grenades + Brute Shot Spawn: There you have it! Before I leave I shall provide you with a brief video runthrough of "Victent" GameVee.com | Halo 3 Video | Video | Victent Runthrough Download link: Bungie.net : Community : Forum Topic Listing : Forum Reply Listing

dude cool looking map man. i would like to give this one a good old test run. it looks like it could use a bit more cover (very particular to have a map with good amounts of cover). but thats it
Like the people before me have said, it looks too open/not enough cover. Maybe add small pieces of cover along the walkways across, and some small objects like dumpsters/ crates to provide additional cover on the ground/enables people to jump up to higher levels. Also, maybe move rockets to sword, and remove the sword altogether-however this is all speculation/ideas since I have not actually downloaded the map yet and have had a good look at it.
Your map needs cover add some fence walls maybe interlocked boxes in the wall. Or to be simple just barriers.
i would say add some cover like crates and things that can move, that would make it a lot better, although its decent right now
To compete with the incredible maps that are currently coming out on Foundry, you will have to geo merge and interlock. That is, if you want to compete or have a fair chance against other maps. Check out forging 101 for more details on interlocking and other methods. Otherwise, for geo merging, try this... spawn the object you want to geo merge, surround it with sender nodes, place a door so either the side or top of it is sinking into the object. Now for the final step, try to grab hold from the center of an side of the object, it works better this way but doesn't have to be done, then while still holding, save changes and end the game. It should turn out perfect. Good luck.
I think it's a bit MLG like, if that was the purpose ask a mod to change it to the Halo 3 MLG Section. The map seems to be okay, because mostly the lack of Interlocking and layout and geometry features. This map also lacks creativity. The bases look like theyre just two standart MLG bases. You need to work some aesthetics into the map to. I suggest to geo merge walls, that are placed next to a wall, it makes the gameplay somewhat more comforteable. And some boxes really seem random. this is a map that is to basic and standard. Try looking around in the Forging 101 section. This post was meant to be constructive, not trying to be mean, so take it up as a constructive one. EDIT: I just saw you only had 2 Spawn Points, I was like, omg. Add more Spawn Points, and make sure they are place correctly and not aiming at an wall or something like that. And I actually don't see weapons too, if you need help with weapon placement, I believe there are a few guides here around.
Only Two Spawns? Hmm... That is quite odd. When I did the final touches I saved it with six spawns. 3 on each side. Thanks for the criticism I need it to become better at forging.
As people said before me you need to geo-merging and interlocking. I would put more cover. The things that I would geo-merge are the double-box open and I would interlock the stairs and some other stuff in the middle. This would be OK in the lazy map makers but i would delete thise shield doors and put more cover. Overall 3/5
