Project 7 Description: I was just thinking one day: What if I made a map that with the 7th Column symbol? That's basically where the idea came from. I started on the map and I knew right away that I wanted it to be with the Double Boxes. After about one hour I was finished with the symbol and decided to make a narrow hallway at the end of the middle column. Now it was time for the sides. I was a little stuck and didn't know what to make. So on one side I decided to make two rows of stairs next to each other, and on the other side I put three double boxes and interlocked stairs on top of them. One Warthog was added to each side, same goes for a Mongoose. I also put a Ghost near one end of the 7th Hallway and a Rocket Launcher on the other side. We tested this map and it can be played on Slayer, CTF, and Assault. There's a Sniper Rifle at the end of the 7th Hallway and an Active Camo at the other. There is an Over Shield hovering above the middle of the 7th Column. This is cool, though I don't think it belongs in the Competitive Maps section. You might want to consider interlocking some objects as well. Good job though.
yeah i like the way you didnt just make the symbol it self. you added a map to acctually play in against people.
That is probably due to the lack of interlocking. It looks like an excellent concept, but how full are the "bases" and offices? Also, i wouldve made the symbol a bit bigger. Seems too small, and the action seems forced.
Interesting concept, but the end result came out sloppy and not what you planned it out to be (IMO). I don't think games on this map would be much fun, as there's too much open space for players to move about and hide. Even with the other half of Foundry blocked off, this map is more aesthetic oriented than combat oriented. I think you'd be better of building aesthetic structures more than combat structures. Just be sure to clean up a bit when your done .
