Banjo-Kazooie Preorder Bonus Announced Plus wallet friendly price details. by Erik Brudvig August 19, 2008 - Microsoft is looking to make sure there is no reason you don't pick up Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts this fall. The game is due out November 14 and Microsoft has announced a preorder deal that begins today. Drop a few bones to reserve a copy and you'll get a free download code for the original Banjo-Kazooie game, releasing on Xbox Live Arcade this year. The Banjo-Kazooie XBLA port won't release until a couple weeks after Nuts & Bolts, but those who preorder the game will be able to get the Live Arcade title two weeks earlier than the rest of the world. And if that isn't enough to entice you, Microsoft has also announced that Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts will have a suggested retail price of $39.99.
The second was a little less fun than the first, but it was still good fun. This one looks awful. The art style is way too chunky lookin', and the vehicles promise to make me hate it. I hate platformers with vehicles (Yoshi is NOT a vehicle), and being that the levels are quite large, the vehicles can't be avoided. It will either blow, or be ignored due to the annoying decision to focus on vehicles.
Dude, Banjo & Kazooie is going to pwn. I had the first one for the N64, and it was awesome. I didn't get the second one, I'm guessing because it was probably for the GC, which I don't have. But this one just looks awesome, the idea of being able to make your own car, customize it, and the challenge of having to build it certain ways to be able to get Puzzle Pieces, and to win Races. I don't care what any of you say. I'm buying this game. I just won't preorder it, because I'm sure there'll be enough when I get there. If there were enough GTA IVs, there will be enough B & K.
To the user above: banjo tooie was also out for the n64. Yeh, like the other's above, the new game just doesn't look as good as the others. I mean, it would be a lot funner turning into all sorts of funny and random creatures instead of having to build a machine. I remember playing the first 2: I want to shoot explosive eggs at people now.
=O Blasphemy. Also, at £40, I'm totally pre-ordering. [Edit] - Wait, $40?!? That'll be £30 then. Hell yea!
im still confuzzled on how.. were taking nientendo title and making it xbox.. when CLEARLY.. it should be a Wii game...
Everyone knows that, were it to come out on the Wii, some awful wii-mote motion sensing thing would be added, the graphics would be rubbish, and it'd just be touted as a rubbish game overall. xbox 360, woo! [Edit] - So to make it seem less mean, I just mean that if you look at the quality of Wii games atm (besides nintendo made games), there are few platformers, that look great, and utilise the Wiimote well. Woah!
You hear about that Micro$oft Wiimote rip-off? The one that's supposedly got a lot to do with BK3? Yeah.
Agreed, the first one was awesome for the N64. The new one will be pretty cool from what I heard where you can customize and build your own car! I think I will hear the reviews before I buy it which is still undecided.
Look into it, then. Shouldn't be too hard to find. Actually, here's something: LINK Kinda hoping it's not happening, but if it does, then that comment about it being a waggle fest on Wii and not on Xbox is fail.
The first Banjo Kazooie was one of the best games on N64! I can't believe that rare are now with Microsoft or whatever happened because the new game looks crap! But if the original comes out on marketplace i'll get that =]
Microsoft bought Rare, so Nintendo no longer holds the rights to any games that are not Nintendo characters.
I'm looking forward to pre-ordering Banjo so that I can play the original before many others. I never did play a lot of the original, so this'll be good.
