Gimp Master Tutorial (For noobs?)

i dont even know how to download gimp because when i click download it goes to a page with like 5 other things and u choose which one to download so im just plain confused in general

I don't know if this is the right place to ask... but...
I'm having trouble getting a font, I did everything up untill pasteing it in the fonts folder. An error box pops up and says 'Windows is using <file name> wait untill windows is done to continue', or something to that effect, any suggestions?

Could also have to do with the fact that i'm not My comps admin?
