For those that don't know this game is my real pass time. I love this game. I started my clan here with 40+ people. I've met tons of friends here. I played at the top of the leaderboards, ranked #1 when I played ranked religiously. For those that don't know about this game... Think Chromehounds on crack. Fast paced combat with huge freakin' robots. Customizable to the brim. Just search for Armored Core 4 on youtube. The expansion is coming out in March next year. The expansion is called AC4A or Armored Core 4: For Answer. Here are some screen shots from the upcoming expansion... As you can see the graphics are beautiful...
I can't stand AC4. I think the graphics are garbage. No physics, crappy explosions (where are the mechs on the ground sparking on fire....? No where, they explode into disappearance)
No physics? They are on boosters... Graphics are garbage? Well have you seen a real life size robot to compare? Those mechs aren't on fire... its a glow from their main boosters. And I don't play AC4 for all of the above. I play for the mechanics, the action, the strategy in building, and then the skill in playing. In Halo I couldn't care less if I die, I'll just come back to life. In AC4, I don't want to die, cuz when I do I have to sit there and watch people play. That gets me motivated to try harder...
I can't live without it. I've been a hardcore AC fan since AC2... I just never owned a PS2 to play any of the games...
That is the biggest boss ever. Master Chief might not be able to defeat him. Wait, the Chief pwns all, never mind.
Awesome! I never picked up AC4, but i own practically all of the games for the PS2. I wonder if they will bring any of the classic parts back...
Don't know... but they did bring the old AC2 style bosses back. And the whole community is hoping for new weapons. Can't wait for that co-op mode....
I love armored core...always have, cept I havent had the money to get AC:4, but I will soon. And if AZN wants to help me out that would be awsome
I was a big fan of the first one, and I mean a BIG fan! When I heard about this miracle coming to the empty PS3, I nearly wet my pants. Yes, I wet my pants alright..... IN DISAPPOINTMENT! This one killed my love for the series! Waste of 50 bucks!
I prefer it this way. With the change of times, AC had to quicken the pace.. it is no longer based on slow moving tactics... it is fast-paced and based on reaction. I like things this way. It requires a different type of strategy. And I'm all for it... QBing for dodging, and speed to find a good playing field is loads more fun...
