Barrow,Alaska.

In a little Alaska town called Barrow, 30 days of night is a natural part of life. untill a group of vampires comes to feed on the unsuspecting towns people. Sun rises in 30 days, but will you live to see it?

Gametype - 30 days of night



Barrow,Alaska is a map made for the 30days of night infection gametype.
how it works is 25% of the players turn into vampires and must hunt humans to keep there blood levels up (shield drains over time and only recover by killing humans).

Both humans and vampires only have 3 lives to give the illusion that there is more vampires then humans.

The humans may have a disadvantage speed and strength wise, but they have a good amount of weaponry to evan things out. Everyone starts with a shotgun and a magnum but other weapons such as axes(hammers),
Molotoves(flame bombs), Flares,hunting rifles(snipers) A flame thrower,bear traps(trip mines), And a UV flashlight (spartan lazer) in the utilidor. There are 3 vehicles on the map. 2 police jeeps(worthogs) and a trencher(chopper).

The vampires start inside a cave with swords, they are faster,stronger, and able to jump from building to building. But at a disadvantage, if they don't feed there shields will run outs and they will become easier to kill. however, trying to pull a head shot on these guys is not an easy task.

Vampires can only come out 1 minute into the game when its dark.

Note:commiting suicide to get out into the map faster will not work, you will just spawn inside the cave and you will be out one life, to just don't do it.

The goel for the humans is to get to the utilidor and last the round(each round lasts 10 minutes,there are 3 rounds). but taking some pitstops for ammo and equipment will be essential for your servival, but once you pick a gun up it will never come back(this includes hammers and equipment aswell)Also there are places that you can access in some of the bigger homes that will alow you to hide from the vampires for awile, but dont stay for to long.

the last human standing will do the unthinkable, infect himself with the Vampires blood inorder to make himself stronger and faster, this will alow him to servive more hits from the Vampires,You can still use vehicles and weapons but you will also not gain asmuch shield from hitting the vampires. You will be able to hide from the vampies.

Play with more then 10 players to make it fun. 16 is recomended.
