Complexity

    This is my first map post, so I figured I'd start off with a remake/reimage of a map that I loved from Goldeneye. Complex. Well I had to make some adjustments to get things the same, I took Halo's jumping ability into account and was able to fit more things in. Sadly, I had to nix three rooms from the original, but from my experience a long while ago, those three rooms were not used as a major area of combat normally. So the pillar room, and the duel bridge and basement were cut from the floor plan due to space. I instead added a long room with man cannons on either side to make the room quicker to travel through, but for those that want to walk, the rocket launcher can be found in the middle of the room.

    All game types work. There is a higher amount of weapons, but because of the complexity (no pun intended) of the map, they are mostly spread a good distance apart.

    2x Spikers
    1x Sniper Rifle
    1x Rocket Launcher
    1x Brute Shot
    1x Plasma Pistol

    1x Active Camo
    1x Overshield
    1x Regenerator
    1x Radar Jammer
    1x Bubble Shield

    8x Frag Grenades
    12x Spike Grenades

    Your posts great but I can't get the map from the description or the pics, the diagram just confused me more from what I can see 3/5

    looks like a good map, n i can c the similarities in the two maps, i wasnt a big fan of goldeneye tho. i like the little diagrams, never seen nething like them b4. 4/5

    It's a nice map, looks like a load of fun to play, but it's hard to tell, could you please add more pics?

    Complex is my 2nd favorite Golden eye map and probably #1 fan favorite and this version looks great! Everything seems to be true to the N64 classic but my only complaints are that there doesn't seem to be any interlocking or geo-merging and it looks like you could jump out of the map, not sure just judging from the pics, I'll DL and tell you if I got out (also the radar jammer doesn't help since you can jump higher with a glitch). Creating a v2 with less grenades and fixing issues previously stated would also be a good idea, 12 stickies is alot!

    I don't see any interlocking whatsoever. Submit this to the lazy mapmakers contest this is a sure win. On the post it looks very balanced and clean. 5/5.

    the map looks pretty good and i like it how you made a map of it too it actually helps show off your map

    Things are interlocked, sadly the photos I took did not show those parts off... I don't have access to the Xbox at the moment, the wife has the TV, but I will try and post some more pictures soon.

    For little interlockage, this is freakin amazing. It gives the feel of a complex type map. You should edit traits to be more like goldeneye though. As cool as it would be, James Bond can't have overshields. =(

    He interlocked in the third pic. And nice map. I've never liked the Goldeneye series because of it's controlling, but this map looks pretty good. 4/5, and welcome to forgehub.

    Yeah he did interlock but I think the lazy mapmaker's contest thingy ended yesterday. Nice map, it is very clean. It does look escaplable from the pictures but I might be wrong. 5/5 on the post, 4/5 on the map.

    seems just a bit sloppy, but the layout is great. also nice interlocking too

    Sadly it is escapable... Mainly because I ran out of money and some of the main pieces as well. So I would trust a high traffic game to be on the honor system, and not jump out. Plus where I found way to get out myself, it takes a good planted grenade jump and more likely you'll be caught in the middle of doing so. Kinda like my brother did numerous times as I shot him with the sniper or rockets. I will keep the idea of escaping in mind for future maps, but this was a good stepping stone for me to try new things (at least for me). I will more likely come back to it another time but for now I have some other ideas to try out. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

    AMAZING post layout best I've ever seen! Also the map looks very fun :p.

    Hmm, I hate to do this two days in a row in two different posts, but...

    Map looks okay, pretty sloppy looking, definitely needs interlocking, but not geo-merging so much. Post quality is good overal, ascestics not so much done to please... I give 3.5/5. Escapability is pretty unforgiveable to me, sorry.

    Looks like there are some bumps, maybe a few areas where the map could be a lot cleaner. Good job though on your layout, the man cannons might make the game a little confusing or crazy. 4/5 on the game play from my perspective.
