Intersession This is my second map here on Forgehub. The general concept of the map is a sort of complex center area with interlocking pieces, providing much cover. Another key concept is that in many places there are three stories, accessible by clever jumping. It's possible to scale the map vertically by jumping on walls and whatnot, leaving pursuers in the dust. The map has the standard "Two symmetrical bases, a shotty, and a snipe tower/ building" layout. The Red Base. Each base has three levels and two sub levels. The ground floor of the red base. You will find two Brs, and plasmas. The second and third floors of red base. You will find another two Brs and frags on the second floor along with two carbines on the outside wall(not shown). On the final third floor(It's really just two platforms) there are another two Brs and spikes. Additionally you can see the flag that hangs on the wall. Sniper corner of the map. A barren area. Shotty Corner of map. Another barren area. Sniper Tower One can gain access to the open box below which holds a brute shot. The coils can be given a slight push for massive collateral damage ( : . On the sniper platform, a Beam Rifle leans against the wall. The sniper itself spawns in a cubbyhole not shown yet. The sniper cubbyhole One can jump up from the snipe ramp tp the platform, or enter the box for the sort of hidden sniper. After, they can use the sorta crooked barriers for sniping cover. *NOTE* The beam rifle has been moved from it's position in the screenshot to the wall, to avoid "I cannot pick up this weapon!" problems. (?) The complex center path. Although the center path is often is not the most sane path to take, it provides much cover, leads directly to the enemy base, and can lead to the sword room. The Shotty Room. The shotty room holds, obviously, the shotty on the pedestal and step leading to the center. It also holds the hammer in the lower part(not shown), and in it's sister rooms lie maulers. The ground floor of the center. The crate provides an essential amount of cover from red and blue entrances of the lower tunnel. One can see the lower sword route and the bottom of the main bridge in this picture. Blue Base. It's the same as red base. Duh. And yes, the camo balls are crooked. Sue me. Jk. The center from snipe. One can see the center plasma pistol room below snipe here The roadblocks don't work very well, one can run right into them ( : . Center road from base. What people may see when the match starts. Below the above picture; the bottom middle route from base. Dawn Wolf (That's me): Hi! So, I don't know if this could be an MLG map. I have this weird quirk about having to put every basic weapon on a map. If I don't put an SMG on it and I play it I'll be sad because I can't have an SMG. I suppose if I had it only Brs, Carbines, Maulers, Plasma Pistol, Snipe, and rockets it could be MLG, but maybe a bit too busy and complex. There is no rocket on here because I personally hate them. wow! i bet you can make that a real good mlg map if you take out certain weapons, either way, it looks really nice 4/5!
I think there are too many power weapons: shotgun, sniper, beam rifle, grav hammer, sword, and maulers. Other than that, it looks good.
if this is your second map, then you have no excuse to not know that titles should only contain the map name and nothing else. Please fix it or you'll be reported.
wow the map is very well made and there is great geomerging and interlocking but the only problem has already been said (the weapons)
I'll probably post an "MLG" version in the same thread. Simple answer. Noobs like me can have our hammers and tard' weapons.
some of your merges look junky compared to others and it looks a little hurriedly made in some places and others look out of place...I do like the flag and the general idea of the map...good job 3.8/5
