I hope I dont sound mean mikelp, but it bugs me that you are comparing my map to yours, and then saying its bad. I appeciate all feedback no matter what it is, I'm just asking for you to stop talking about your map. But I bet that your map is excellent and I would love to see it. : )
As I haven't tested the map yet, what is the Hammer of Dawn in your map? Because I have a useful idea for it, as far as I know the Hammer of Dawn in GoW is a beam that comes down from the skies, destroying everything in it's way. Place a fence box far up on Foundry, a Reciever Node and a Spartan Laser / Sentinel Beam up inside it. The Custom Powerup should be placed on the teleporter, to activate a Dumpster to block the teleporter as you arrive (to avoid having a party up there ), and give you Invincible Health (so you don't die from the dumpster). Get the idea?
That sounds like a great idea, but I cant put that in since I ran out of fence boxes. But if anyone else is making a berserker map, I would reccomend this idea. Iced=Genuis
You guys should really DL this its freakin awsome. He let me make a v3 off his idea and I'm thinking about uploading it on here, but whatever. Seriously if you ever just want a map to play for shits and giggles this map is the ****. (no pun intended)
Mikelp SaucyCarp is way to nice a person to tell you to shut the hell up. If you have some constructive criticism thats great, thats what forge hub is for. But comparing it to your maps is retarded. I suppose everyone is allowed their own opinions, but maybe you should learn to keep them in you're head and not vomit them all over the forums.
just something else could do is place a teleport in the coutyard and have a small bottomless room in the top. Then the humans who make it could pick it and fire "down" at the beserker, making it more like the game. Just make the vehicles destructable and zombie killable. Because last time i played one of these both options were changed and you couldn't kill him.
Haha this is an awesome map. It replicates the pattern recognizing and tension aspects of the original GoW battle. There are some honor rules though which may be a problem. Also, there are a lot of movable objects which the chopper can just plow through. Was that intentional or is it a design flaw? I really like the fact that they have to get to the courtyard to kill the Berserker though, which definetely makes this map worth a 4/5.
it is fun if you have the rite amount of people but the invis part is alittle over the edge even if the berserker is blind but if you maybe made the whole map bigger with more rooms instead of 2 it would be better. also people shoot even tho they arent suppose to so whatever 4/5
Nice idea and nicely made, but you know about a thousand other people have done this. Other than that you made it a lot better than the other ones I like how you actually put some detail into the courtyard
Nice Idea and design. This is very unique and I saw another guy who has something like this but yours is way better!
