MAP: Foundry DRIVING SKILL REQUIRED: Easy/Medium PLAYERS: 8, plus spectators. Creator: DracoStraybyrn ROCK AND ROLL V2 on Foundry Gametype: HaloTracks - Gametype Description: An offroad-style track that's COMPLETELY double-wide (ALL previous single-wide areas have been fixed) featuring extremely neat interlocking, some very discreet Geomerging, a beautiful hairpin banked curve, a jump ALL THE WAY over Foundry to a perfect-every-time (unless you're Masta and you TRY to mess it up) landing zone (now with shield door and man cannon support). The finish line is cheat-proof to the extent that if you don't stop on the very edge of the ramp, you can't cheat. You do die when you go through it, and sometimes you can't even see your dead body. That's funny... kinda. Any "cheating" will just slow you down and make you fail hard, so don't do it. Overall really fun map with delayed start and a beautiful mix of high speed and smooth stunts. This map shows nearly every trick and ability a forger can have, even though I didn't use ever single space of Foundry. I could have, but it'd only add a few seconds on to the lap time and I wouldn't be able to add many more stunts or anything. It's smooth, it's fast, it's incredibly fun, and it's even tournament and Demo-Racing compatible. Enjoy. Recommended laps: 15+. --Racing Tips-- - Power through the jumps for the best results. - Powerslide only in the big areas... you don't want to crash into the wall. Maintaining control is important for speed. - If you cut the small arc on the banked turn you'll loose speed, but doing the wide arc is slower. It's pretty even, but it's still your choice. - Try not to hit the wall corners by the man cannons... you'll still go through, but you'll probably crash, and it's your fault for thinking it will help you cheat. Testimonials: (Comment and you might get in the testimonials! Lol.) Pictures (Click to Enlarge!): HOTSEAT: What inspired your creation? The first version of ROCK AND ROLL was intended to be sloppy, so... I wanted to make one that was as close to perfect as possible. If there is a third version of ROCK AND ROLL, it will just be without a few jumps for speed, but the jumps work really well anyway. How long did it take to create? The first one took me a day... but this one didn't. By a longshot. I've been working on it -nearly- every day for about three weeks. It's taken a lot of fixing, and you should check the Special Thanks section to see all the people who helped to make this map epic. What aspect took the longest to get right? The banked turn by far. It took weeks to keep trying and editing just to get the right angle etc. It was really fun making it, but it still took a while. The thing made of fence walls at the start also took a few hours. SPECIAL THANKS - These people are awesome and helped out a TON. FrenchFries12 a deadguineapig vVT3hJoShn3ss95 FrenchFries 12 Killer200O c u l8er TweakyKnight28 DOWNLOAD
