Quantum After taking a few pieces of advice from my last post, I decided to take my time making this map in order to avoid it looking "messy." Unlike my last map, this one is entirely original and from what I have been told a pretty decent map. I have had to add some changes here and there since I blogged about it but I think it has turned out well. Well enough about that and on to the map There is a sword in the center of the map suspended upside-down in the air by a weapon holder. It makes for a beginning game rush similar to rockets on The Pit. Also there are four "Towers". Each tower has two levels, three if you count getting on top of them. The first two are have stairs so that you can climb to the sword. The other two have dumpsters so a little jumping is required to reach the top of theses towers. Underneath the sword is what I like to call Main Alley. Underneath is a Power Drain and is also where the bomb spawns in Neutral Assault. On the side opposite of the second set of towers is a semi open area for those shoot outs that usually take place in intense games. Also there is a sniper on the floating walls if you can hop enough dumpsters to get there or you could find your own right. Not only that but the one and only power up, oversheilds, is secreted in an open double box. ' On tower side I forgot to mention in order to equal out sniper side I put a shotgun on a single box. Now the "bases" for objective maps look as so. Not very fortified but that is to avoid camping so that there is actually some participating from all team members. And in case you were wondering, yes those stairs are the ones leading to the first towers. Well I have a real hard time describing maps in case you can't catch on. If you really want to know how this map works I'd suggest downloading it and playing it yourself. It is compatible with gametypes such as slayer (team and FFA), juggernaut, CTF, and Assault (Normal and Neutral). this looks like a great map i like the sword spawn and the way you desighned it overall ill be sure to DL this.
Seems like, its missing something. Try adding scenery to it to make it look more full. Other than that, 3.5/5
This looks like a pretty cool map to me. I like the entire set up, but there may be not enough cover in some areas. Maybe a gameplay video would be in order?
though it has already been said, it would look better if there was some more cover, but actually i think it looks fine w/o as much cover, then it would just look stupid. as of right now, it also looks like a great map
grat job and yes this a definate improvement from ur last map, it looks pretty clean and smooth could use some more cover but grea job
