Im still having difficulties with this one,.. Is it a Hit or Miss Trial/Error Kind of glitch? Or is there a way to perfect it everytime?

    E.G.
Trying to sink and Open Box(Upside Down) For that Clean tunnel esthetic. My method has been, surround the box with other boxes and turn "Doors" on their sides on top of the "wish to blended box" letting the doors settle and then grab and release the "wish to blend box" it blends a little and I repeate moving the doors for a few more stages. When I get it close enough and only need to do this one more time to make it uber clean, I grab and release the box and if goes bye bye under the floor.

If someone can write a better way to do this or perhaps show me in person it would be Much appreciated.

instead of letting go, press start and save quickly. i don't use boxes. i use a combination of walls, doors and bridges as guides. sometimes i pre-geomerg the guides into the floor too so the box/wall has more to grab on to.

Firstly, Teleporters are better guides. Secondly, you can only merge with a door twice, after that it sinks under the floor. You must use the old method for deeper merges, I suck at that though.

ive never had much luck with teleporters. they tend to make my boxes go all screwy. weapon holders too.

Use teleport nodes for guides instead of boxes. Put two sender nodes on the long sides, one on each end, and on all four sides line up a receiver node sideways against it. Generally, using teleport nodes for geomerging guides with doors is a lot cleaner than most other methods I've found (though I imagine that using an upside window panel would work well, assuming the box didn't break through it). One problem I've run into a lot in geomerging is that sometimes the boxes will break out of the guides I've set in place. This can usually be corrected by just grabbing the box again, but sometimes it can get to be a real pain in the neck...

Because of the inconsistent nature of geo merging, it's always going to be trial and error. Just be patient and keep trying the door method. You're bound to get it.
