    Welcome to my thread about my newest, completely original map, The Winchestor V3. First, just a tiny bit of background information, this is loosely based on the Winchestor Pub from Shaun of the Dead. There the boring part is over. This map was created for the infection variant Z-Day. (Refer to bottom of the post for the link.) I originally made this map a couple weeks ago and have fixed most apparent problems in the Version 3. I have made this map specifically balanced for 5-8 players although ten sometimes works.

    Zombie

    The Winchestor itself features four main entrances and any others you can figure out as the zombie. The four main entrances are three window panels and a hole in the roof accessed by jumping onto either a warthog or the dumpster. If you are the lucky alpha zombie you will spawn with 90% health. All of the former-human zombies will have 50% health and an energy sword. Your objective is simple defeat the humans before one minute remains and they can escape out onto the street that contains battle rifles.

    Human

    As a human you originally spawned with a magnum but due to popular demand I have switched it to a smg. The first thing you will notice is the Winchestor Rifle above the bar. This is the main advantage for the humans, and will either win or lose you the game. In order to keep the effect of the movie going at 2:00 minutes fire grenade spawn for your rush into the basement where you will have to hold out from the zombies for another minute. The pub contains two pistols, one smg, an assault rifle, and a shotgun(The Winchestor Rifle). If your are unlucky enough to become the last man standing you will receive an overshield which essentially makes you survive two sword lunges instead of one.

    Overall this is by FAR my best forge map yet, and I really urge you to give it a try with your friends and review it!

    Hello and welcome to forgehub. I hope that you will continue to be a part of this community and will be active. However, your post is not up to forgehub standards. You must have your images embedded. Please read this topic for more information about correct posting format. If you need help with embedding pictures, follow these instructions. You must first access them from your screenshots section in your Halo 3 bungie.net profile. Then, save them to your computer. You must use and external image hosting site, such as imageshack. Upload the images then select them. It should provide and image url for you, then take that url and insert it into the text box that appears when you click the image icon while posting.     Fixed pictures take a look, I know it might of been able to look better but it plays well.

    belive it or not, someone made a map about the dawn of the dead pub. but i guess you didn't know that so. great first post, you should really have pics up before you post. also, i don't see any interlocking, if there is any then good job, if not, then you should add some. alos, flip those boxes outside because the bottoms are smoother, its a simple trick that makes a hug difference.

    Agreed. Flip the double boxes facing down, it looks much cleaner and much more smoother. The map itself looks very fun from the pictures, my favorite part is the basement! Great Job! 4/5! Keep up the great maps!

    Thanks for the comments, yeah one of my newer maps which is a 1v1 that has a lot of interlocking and I did that thing with the boxes for it. Thanks for the tips I guess Ill work on interlocking all of the walls and there is some but its all in the very back of the map.

    lol do us all a favor and interlock the boxes upside down for a smother path lol but a kinda cool map 3.5/5

    nice map, this looks just as good as the other version. (execpt this one has a basement). very nicely made, 4/5

    I know this is off topic but if I change the boxes and then save changes will it reset my dls on the file share?
