NEW MAP EDITOR with A.I!!! (video) NO JOKE!

I'm thinking you can grab a grid section and form it into the terrain you'd like.

 

if this is true, i wonder what tis will be distributed as, an update for halo 3, or acompletely new disk you have to buy and install, or an xbox live marketplace item....

I wonder.... i really hope this isnt a joke, cuz this would sooooooo expand forge hub tenfold.

i think its gay anyway go into campaign if you want to fight brutes keep the multiplayer seperated

 

Bungie split from Microsoft, Microsoft owns Halo 3's IP and everything. Its almost as Bungie has no control but they have a little control. Their contract Officially breaks in November which means no more bungie dlc maps or anything. No more downloads benefiting the game in any way. Which is why they are putting in this map editor and AI. So people can create their own maps, Since they won't be making anymore after the next DLC.

 

You do realize that they can renew a contract, right?

So wait, is this a terrain editor with AI enemies? This will either have to buy the download or they will ship out a whole new CD and upload it like they did for Elder Scrolls 4: Shivering Isles.

 

I have been saying and asking Bungie to do this forever. Finally they are listening to the fans.
