Hey everyone! I was bored so i decided i'd make a competitive MLG-type map. I decided to name it X-Factor. Hope you enjoy it! X-Factor is a symmetrical MLG-style map which supports Team Slayer. Although MLG TS v5 is recommended, any TS variant will provide a great experience for every player involved. Much of the map is interlocked and the boxes are flipped to make the smoothest playing arena possible. There is also effective spawn placements which guarantee an enjoyable experience for all. I think the map design / idea is flawless but I think you should have definitely done more merging and geo merging to make the map look more clean. The X on the top of the map is a great idea tho . 3/5. 2 off for some interlocking issues and offplaced objects.
what are you talking about essentially everything is interlocked my only concern is mlgness of the map idk if they allow fusion coils and teleporters but idk they might great work i really like the middle base but why is it called x factor? JKKKKKKKKKkk
I think the map is great everything looks nice and well placed. the only thing I dont like is the teleporter above the map. it looks a litlle off and teleporters are bad for maps unless theres one outside coming into the map. I suggest you tele-tap the reciever. teletapping will get it under the map. you can find how to do it under forging 101. by the way the map is escapable. nade jump on the corner wall then jump over the dumpsters.
my only concern is mlgness of the map idk if they allow fusion coils and teleporters but idk they might the tele isnt in the map. its just incase someone gets out theres a way in. ill have to check about the coils though! thanks for the heads up!

well this map intrigues me. the giant x in the middle of the map is a great hook. i saw it and was enticed into reading foward. as for the map itself the two bases are really well made and it looks like a well created map all around but some of the feature looks like you lost interest and just place the item where ever it happened to drop like the corners stacked to creat an over hang. it is imparitive that you make them even. it looks very sloppy if you dont. and some of the bridges do not connect and certain points leaving a hole where a granade can get lost, therebye ruining someones chances at killing the oponent. i do however like the asthetic of the two stairs placed on top of each other. Nice touch. the map does however look very easy to break out of. A granade of two and you have a broken map. so, great design, wonderful potential but it has some faults that need to be rectified.

Great idea, but I would align everything, interlock as much as you can, and geomerge things for overall cleanliness.
*Sigh* All arena style MLG maps have similar layouts. It's just the nature of their concepts. Also, the straight lines in this map differ greatly from Amp's 45 degree angle boxes and wall planes. Anyway, critiquing the map. I like the bridge jump ups on the sides of the mid structure. But what you should do is spend more time aligning objects. It will make things a lot more playable and clean. Overall, good
This map seems really good, i like the big x and your interlocking looks fantastic, next time i suggest also making a non MLG version (weapons and a few differences) because there are many people on here who just dont care for MLG and therefor will not DL your map.
Regens, bubble shields and power drains are NOT allowed in MLG maps. This is a good version 1 however. I would definitely recommend making a version 2. 4/5.
^a map doesn't need geomerging to make it good once you know that you will be better at forge and also i got infraction for that so you better edit to that post quick
the in in front of A has a crooked fence wall, and so does in front of B otherwise, 3.5/5 nice map...
love the design and I think you did a nice job but you should get rid of the portals and fix the boundries it looks like this map is breakable aka escapable
