Weekly Aesthetic Map Contest The Aesthetic Map Contest is a brand new type of forging contest. You need to build a make in one week, The catch is that you need to build with what we tell you to build with. It can be a picture, a contraption or what ever If you have any questions ask them HERE.Everything else will be deleted! This weeks item...Double Boxes!!! The contest: The contest will be updated every Sunday. What you need to do is enter a map that has been built from something I give you to build with. The winners of each week will get there map posted in here. I will also + Rep the winner (for me and co-host, Y35). The winners will be announced the on the following thread. Rules: There are not many rules but the ones that there is are as follows; You have 1 week as a reply to this thread. You can work with a partner. The Weeks object will be posted every Sunday, You MUST include the object in your map. You cant use any other item You can make it on any map with the item on it. Posting Guide: Basically its the same as posting a map normally. It still must follow the Forge Hub Standards Your map can have a Maximum of 5 pictures The map must have a Minimum of 1 pictures You must have a download link in the reply Do not post anything besides a map anything else will be reported for spam. If you have any questions ask them HERE You can reserve spots. How will the judging go down? I will look trough all the posts. I will choose a large number of them. I will pick the better ones from what I can see in the pictures. Much like you would do when you are browsing for maps. From there I will test them all out with my judge's (lol). We will then pick the best ones. Are there going to be any more then one victor? I am going to do 3. There will be the top 3, in order. Are there any other prizes besides rep? There will only be rep (about 20), and bragging rights, There map will be featured in the post bellow. It will be updated weekly. Should people create threads for their maps in the map section? You can but make sure you still follow my rules when entering your map here. How to post it: Basically I am going to make a fake post to show how it’s done. Map Title:Spartan Bridge Map Creator(s): STL A Bridge, once used for military transportation, is now a place for mongoose stunt spectacles... Description: Spartan Bridge took about 3 hours to make and connects the two bases on Standoff. Around the map you will see man cannons, which are used for VIP Rocket Race. I did not interlock the bridge because I wanted it to be a worn out bridge. I highly recommend this map for machinimas. On the red base side, you can walk the suspension cables up to a sniper perch. You guys are not reading this: In lame-O terms Make an aestheticslly basem map out of just double boxes and send it in to this thread, whoever comes up with the best idea and sends it in will recieve around +20 rep. This is a competition, not a real map
When you release the item to be used, will variations on it be allowed? (e.g. double box ---> double box, open; wall ---> double wall, wall corner)
Double boxes mean ALL double boxes, open and closed And when/if we say walls at some point it will most likely be normal walls or fence walls. the only thing we do not allow is if we say double boxes and you use a single box, or if we say walls and stairs only and you use fences. another thing is, since some items have very few count, we will give a few items to work with and increase the "out of the box" thinking

I'm calling shenanigans and locking this. I'm fine with community members creating their own contests, and I encourage real prizes to be included. You went too far though and essentially stole BloodFire's write up. If you want to run a contest, fine, but set the contest up on your own. I smell laziness. What you did would essentially be like if another site took F101 word for word and changed the title to Forging Tutorials. :lock:
